I've got one on the way (Gen) from EU atm and had exact same message on it yesterday.......today all updated and on it's merry way to me again, few more beers and all is good !

I'm no expert but I'm with dieselpower, source a Mbw case set for it instead, much easier down the line I would say for parts fitment etc, I'll post some pics of mine for you soon, and that caseback is very close to the one on my Mbw build

Thought it would be good to give anyone who hasn't ordered from one of our TD's as yet a running commentary on how my order progresses with Andrew, I'm sure plenty of people have done this before but just in case here we go
So I've been eyeing up a Datejust II for a while now and I thought I'd take the plunge and order one today,
So first off I email with an enquiry to see if the piece I want is in stock (something we should all do before we pay!) 'web chat' says no one is home but leave a message anyway.....so I did and within 5 mins I had a reply that yes piece is in stock and pick my movement, Great
Not expecting a response that quick I go back to the website and add the piece to my cart and confirm the order, to which I find 3 pieces in my basket from my last visit (nice touch) but 2 of them are out of stock and will be for a while, a Hublot I liked was in stock the last time I checked so added it and confirmed all the way through
now got 2 explanations to give to the wife...... Selected payment method and within 2-3 mins email to confirm details of payment to Andrew, entered and confirmed shipping address, then emailed to confirm Payment sent to him, after about 6 mins he confirmed payment received and advised ems and Qc pics will be along asap......
Now I'm off to bed........night

best place I'd say would be your local Mall watch guy, he would be able to do it fast and cheaply too he isn't fazed if the watch is Gen or Rep.....it's a watch first. -

Ok thought this was a Ceramic we were talking about, in which case if your gonna spend $500+ definitely add some $ and pick up the Tc instead, pop a Gen insert on it and your done, well 98% there anyway

It's your money, but remember, that watch you mention on TT was added to their site back in 2007, so you could do yourself a favour, buy a cheaper version, and then take advantage of the tutorials on the various rep site on carrying out the various mods yourself

My wife has the same piece with Mop dial and yours is nothing like hers, the case back looks engraved in the pic so does the side profile and only Gen has that if I remember correctly, probably a good idea to post pics 'before' a purchase if your not sure though mate like the guys have said already ! Enjoy -

Lol, I used to use anything at my disposal but a rubber hammer really really helps not to mess up.
