  1. Thanks for the compliment. Yea I agree, just barely enough strap tail is good. The bottom slack is ok but the strap at the sides are really digging into my skin. That's why im hoping this strap Stretches a bit after broken in.
  2. Quick question for custom strap enthusiasts. I have received my 1st custom strap from strap culture. I have a few reps but this is my first thick custom strap. The quality is excellent and its about 5mm thick. The measurements are 135/80. I have a 7inch wrist and its definitely true what they say that thick straps where shorter. My question for those with custom thick straps, once the leather is broken in, will the leather stretch? Im asking because when I purchase my 2nd, im debating if I should go longer. With this measurement im at the 2nd to the last hole and I like a bit of a tail. So just inquiring to see if the leather strap will stretch after wearing it for a bit. Thx!
  3. Wheres your watch Shundi, I only see your avatar!
  4. Be glad you found this website first. Many pulled the trigger to soon and got scammed. I am glad I found this website before I got burned!
  5. Ahhh Chronoluvv, no corum today. Especially love the white dial, so clean!
  6. Chronoluvv, by chance what size is that Corum Admirals Cup? I have been looking for an all white 48mm but can only find the 44's. I love the white face dials
  7. Hey bud, I am definitely in the same boat as you. Been looking for the classicos myself for a bit. The only semi-decent ones I found so far are with Mary at WI who is a trusted delaer here. Even then the nicer ones with the sapphire crystal are only in 50mm which is obviously different then the gen which comes in 45mm and 53mm. They probably do that for cost since the flightdecks are 50mm and just use the same cases. They also have 52mm but a cheaper version with no sapphire only mineral cystal. But if anyone can chime in on a source for good classicos as well, I would be interested as well.
  8. Lol! It sure does. Funny because some of the scammer replica sites list it as an IWC big pilot. Thank you for the info
  9. Hello gents and ladies. I am new to the world of watches in general yet alone reps but have done alot research. I can't believe how much time I spend on the net looking at watches. I can say I am seriously hooked. It started with Uboat and now im getting turned on by the IWC's. I have been looking into the big pilots and I see pretty much the same ones on the trusted dealer sites such as Joshua and Andrews. However, I stumbled across this one pictured and its advertised as a Big Pilot but I can't seem to find a rep of this one at any of the trusted dealers. Is this a vintage or an older model that no one carries? Any info would be much appreciated for this noob. Thx
  10. Yup, just like hangover 2, Bangkok has him now!
  11. Hello, first time poster long time lurker. I have learned so much in regards to reps and I am so glad I found this site before I became another victim to the hundreds of rep sites. Again just wanted to say Hi and hopefully will be pulling the trigger on my 1st Uboat rep from either Joshua or Andrew's sites since they seem to be the go to guys in regards to quality and customer service.
