It's degrading to women either way. But I'm not here to argue this point as clearly I'm not going to change any minds.
What does bother me is the attitude of "If you don't like it, you don't have to see it." People have to make a distinction between what is offensive to some and what is harmful to all. If you don't understand why such behavior is harmful, like I said, I'm not going to waste your time, nor mine.

Nice, thanks brother.
Do you know if I'll need a new retaining ring as well?

I just got a Cartel 1675, and it has the A2836 in it.
Obviously, I want the low beat, but I don't know where to get hands. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Here in America we call it Freedom.

Rolex really just ought to re-release all their vintage models.

Use a pair of pliers to screw it back in.

I'm not so sure, who confirmed that it is not ceramic? I'll admit I didn't take it apart to examine the insert, it could well but a ceramic lookalike, and it does look ceramic, the aluminium inserts we are used to on older reps are much thinner.?
Pic from sunnydale.
That's definitely interesting. So what can explain the fading issue with these inserts?

I don't know about the newest ceramic bezeled PO's. The watch has a transparent caseback and the movement is beyond wrong.
Also, just learned that the bezel isn't actually ceramic. Major bummer.

He's already worked on 2 of mine and he has been nothing but a gentleman throughout.
Wish I could have a wrist shot here, but can't find the camera...maybe the community could step in.
Anyway, thanks so much for all your hard work!

Sure. The white 6542 looks nice.
It's that white 1016 that bothers me. Imagine what it would have looked like new. You would barely be able to see the markers. Seems iffy.
-
Idk man, that explorer looks iffy. I mean, white lume without any outline on that white dial? Seems kinda impractical.
Too bad Rlx is so mysterious about this.

It's money saved from the movement, yes. Personally I would go with the clone ETA, but the 4813 makes a good starter rep.

That's terrible news.
Part of my work is helping people to find work. I can definitely help you with your motivation letter if you would like to PM me about it. I would be more than happy to do so.
One caveat: I work within a US environment. It shouldn't be all that different in the EU but I thought I would let you know.

Read it and weep, gentlemen.
Don't be surprised to see at least a little bit if yourselves in the article.
CLIFFNOTES!
Guy is addicted to clothes. Replace clothes with watches and this is basically a WIS confessional.

Angus said it during the week, he's always maintained noob were doing a release, it just seemed slow coming out and once these were released I assumed it was just usual dealer politics. He mentioned it last week again that the release will be out in the next couple of weeks. So he is still insistent on a release. Will be interesting to see.
Indeed. I hope it's for real.
I don't know whether to hold out for this or get an AP RO classic now. Choices choices...
-
Also there is supposed to be a CUPO release coming from noob factory soon. I didn't think they would go ahead with it but we'll wait and see.
Source?

The only thing that keeps me away from these are the size. 42mm for a sub homage. Too big!
Let's keep it classic!
-
It wouldn't matter to me. Rolex calling this an Explorer is like Chevy calling the new mid-size wanna-be Wimpala and Impala!
+1
Gotta stick with the classic.

The movement listed in both Andrew and Joshua's "cheap" 1655 is a 21j DG2813. The DG 2813 is not a GMT movement, but the movement itself is the same as a DG3804B without the GMT parts. Looking at the movement in person, it is a 21j DG3804B. I suppose the factories could save a buck by buying DG2813 and converting then to GMT, but that really makes little sense. Even the rotor is that of the DG3804B, so my guess is that they are DG3804B movements and just misnamed in the descriptions. I have two brand new movements from Trusty with dials/hands as they came out of the watch on my desk, one from a 1655 and the other from a 16570, and they are identical to the DG3804B I have from Otto Frei.
Would you know if the GMT hand is independently adjustable on the DG3804B?

Definitely the bracelet. What's C&I?

The problem with 6538 and 5510 is that the case sets from Minh, ndt and phong are not 1:1 copy's. the bezels are a big tell, cause they even do not look like gen... Also the cases, they are way wrong. the only case that is 75% of the gen is the phong case....and if you want to have it to look nearly like the gen then you have to reshape it...
Yeah, that was my impression, looking from the pics at least. In which case I don't think it's worth the cost.

Does such a creature exist?
I tried searching, but came up short. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks and much appreciated.

What about lume? Would that be unfeasible at this point?
Zeleni Kukuruz banned?
