  1. Well...go to eBay and search for "bezel insert"... You gonna find what u looking for, yesterday i also ordered a 16610 Sub bezel because the pearl on my replica timepiece was fairly inaccurate. 10 Bucks ... just give it a try. EDIT: Go to ebay.com (ebay America) ... you will find him there ... but this guy is shipping worldwide. EDIT2: There is a lotta scam out there! I was talking about this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8927100934
  2. This is how i did it. Due to the fact, that you have no holes in the case, the bracelet-endlinks prolly are not solid, so you can see the pin that connects bracelet-endlink to the case. You will see, that the pins have a little Ring at both ends...take a look at this: http://img.auctiva.com/imgdata/1/5/4/2/6/8...13830293_tp.jpg This "Ring" can be seen through the hole in the bracelet-endlinks. Just take a needle, set it just on the ring, and push it in. Once youi have pushed it in you can loosen one side of the endlink by pulling on the endlink just enough so the springbar pin will not snap back into the case hole. Do the same thing with the other side and there you go
  3. Hello, I have ordered a 2836-3 Movement. Now I have a 2824 [censored]-dial and a Rolex dial without the dial feet. Now...will the 2824 Dial fit my 2836 movement? If yes I could glue the Rolex Dial to my 2824 [censored] dial to make it fit...right? Or should I rather glue the Rolex dial directly to the movement. Would that be better...if so...how do i do that?
  4. Problems are coming up. The Dial is touching the overlay and so the datewheel cannot move anymore once the dial is assembled.
  5. @NRG: I managed to remove the miyota datewheel. I will try to glue it on the ETA one now. Its thick (0.5 mm) but its worth a try.
  6. Hey, Sorry for the bad picture quality, but here you see my miyota movement. You see the rolex-accurate-date-overlay in this case IS the date wheel itself. It's no on-top-glued overlay, its the date disc itself. Now my idea was to remove the miyota date disc (which would line up the date letters correctly) and just glue it to the eta disc. not: this thick white disc is no overlay, its the disc itself.
  7. Hey, Could anyone give me some advice on how to disassemble the date disc from my miyota movement? I already tried to pry it out with a srewdriver, but that seems not to work. Most of the Datewheel is loose, but there is a point (i think the movement's date mechanism) which holds the date disc in place. Could anyone help me with taking the date disc out? Thanx.
  8. Hey, Some days ago I started the Miyota-To-ETA transplantation project. The thing is, i forgot the position of the hands when i took them off How can I put them now back on correctly? Does anyone have an Idea what I could do next. A thing that makes the things more complicated is the fact, that my ETA movement does not STOP when the crown is pulled I appreciate any answers. thanx
  9. Hey...thank you very much for the link. It would definelty help it there WAS any date overlay. The point is, the wide date disc in the miyota movement it's not an overlay, it's the disc itself. Meaning: The Miyota movement has just this one big thick date disc. What would you propose? Should i disassemble the big miyota date disc and simply glue it to the eta movement? I really dont know what do do...maybe i should "buy" a date overlay somewhere, or do you think the thick miyota date disc will do it?
  10. Just took a closer look at the MIYOTA Movement, and found out that there is no "overlay" glued on a datedisc. There is just this one extra-big date disc. What could i do next, should I remove the thick date disc from the miyota movement and just glue it on the eta one? If yes...how do i remove such a date disc! thank you
  11. Thank you very much for your fast reply. Could you please explain what exactly this "date overlay" is, and how i can find it and peel it off. Im a complete newbie so excuse my (stupid) questions And what do I do once i have "peeled" the socalled overlay off the miyota movement...do i glue it simply to the ETA movement? how and where do i glue it to? Sorry for my stupid questions...i really appreciate your nice help! Thanx for your answer in advance.
  12. Hey...what do you mean by "datewheel overlay"...do you mean the date disc itself? Well...the problem is that altough the date discs have the same outer diameter they have not the same width. The Miyota one is almost twice as thick as the ETA one. Here a picture: I dont think that i can just switch the white date discs. Do you have any ideas what i could do next? please help me
  13. Hallo, After modifying the crown guards in order to make them look more accurate, i wanted to replace the Miyota Movement by a Swiss 25 Jewels ETA 2824-2 movement i purchased before. This are the steps i did up to now: Purchased a cheap watch, where i removed the ETA movement, took off the Hands, and took of the Dial Removed the Miyota movement of my Rolex replica and also removed hands+dial Broke off the little stems from the back of the rolex dial... My idea now was to glue the ROLEX Dial ontop of the cheap dial in order to fix it back to the ETA movement. BUT UNFORTANETLY THERE IS A LITTLE PROBLEM As you can see in the picture below, the Date Disc of the Miyota movement is a little bit wider than the ETA Disc. Therefore the date window of the Rolex dial does not show the date properly aligned. Is there anything i could do now??? I don't want my watch to be totally messed up now. Maybe I could take the wider Datedisc from the Miyota Movement and glue it ontop of the ETA datedisc? DO you thing that would work. Pleaaaaaaase help me, i would appreciate any ideas. Below (in the picture) you can see all the pieces i have right now:
