This Jkay,I used a satin block, the only thing that I can't get perfect are the lugs,I need something more precise to get as close to the Bezel as possible, but you know what my dear friend I enjoyed doing the work,I really feel good

Too late,I took the watch apart and for the last two hours I've been getting that satin finish back with some scotch BRITE pads,I will say the finish is better than when I first got it, I'll put on some pictures tomorrow

I used cape cod on it, I've seen submariners before all polished up like mine, so how would I go about getting the original look back

By the way guys in terms of modding the case what would you suggest apart from the CG's

Mike and Joey,I am interested in doing some work in the case in particular getting the sel look just right,I noticed the solid end link doesn't quite look like the Gen if you know what I'm getting at, and this I've been noticing more and more lately, in fact it's becoming a bit annoying lol, the sel on the Gen just looks so much nicer

I've just finished my first ever mod job,I bought this submariner from Trevor time about a month ago and last week to my horror I woke to find that my pearl had dropped off my Bezel, after getting a quote from old Trevor having told me that I couldn't have just a replacement pearl that I would have to order the whole ceramic Bezel I decided with great apprehension to do my first pearl mod job, as usual I got great advice and instructions from you guys on how to go about making my own pearl,I was really scared about doing this, like everyone on here said that there's no better time than the present to do a mod, so I thought why not, I'll take the risk lol. So as advised on here I bought some devcon two part epoxy resin and some wonderful light blue glow in the dark paint, first I prepared the surface to make sure it was all clean, then I mixed the epoxy with a drop of paint and mixed well with a cocktail stick, then with the stick I dipped it in the mix and very carefully filled the pearl cup on the Bezel. Really need some Gen like fitting solid end links for my Trevor time Rolex submariner ceramic, anyone seeking them let me know

I was wondering if anyone could help me in telling me which solid end links I need for my Trevor time ceramic submariner,I really really want the gen looking ones

Contacted Trevor after I woke to find that my luminous pearl had fallen off my Bezel, tried looking for it but I'm afraid has been permanently lost in my [censored] pile carpets lol. anyway I was given a quote by old Trevor for twenty five dollars for the full Bezel as he couldn't just send me the pearl so as per advice by people on here I decided to do my first mod job lol,I have to say I'm still reluctant about doing because I don't wanna mess up the rest of the watch but any how I've now ordered the materials, have ordered a small tub of glow in the dark blue paint which during the day makes the pearl look an off white colour yet at night has a bright blue aqua marine glow and to make the actual pearl I've ordered some two part epoxy by devcon which was cheap, so at the moment I'm just waiting for the stuff, I've got a fairly good idea how I'm gonna go about doing this job but I'd still love any advice. Gonna post some before and after pictures once I've completed it, wish me luck guys lol

Anyone have any news on this new most accurate sea dweller that's suppose to be out,I heard Christmas but can't find anything

Well I wear my watch just above my wrist bone so when I bend my hand for push UPS the watch doesn't poke in to my hand, you could say I wear it like Timothy Dalton wears his Rolex in license to kill lol,I find the watch looks so much nicer that way, kind of stands out but in a discreet way not showing off, can't stand people who wear it loose hanging half way down there hand lol

What it is the pearl has fallen out of the cup, the cup that the pearl rests on has no home in it, is totally clean metal, ice seen some pearls for the submariner but I don't think they are made for the ceramic Bezel submariner

Guys I've thought about it over night and I've decided in gonna take the plunge and do my first mod, I've managed to find a two part epoxy resin called Devcon 2 Ton Epoxy, tell me guys will this do the job, and also exactly what kind of blue glow paint do I need,I don't want the pearl on it to be constantly blue when in full light

Guys I really appreciate the support but I have to tell you that I'm the type of person who would mess up a cup of coffee, I'm no good at these things lol,I was nervous about polishing the watch with cape cod cloths lol
