  1. The genuine blue Schumacher is the platinum version, costing over $100k.

It could be difficult for most enthusiasts to pull off the watch. The titanium version is the entry level version, although it is by no means cheap in any way.

I have eschewed all models of this rep series because the dial color bothers me. I have seen the gen, and the rep dial is a dead giveaway.

However, I agree with pcardoza that as a watch, it is certainly a very nice looking one. If given a choice, I would also have chosen the blue one over the titanium one, just because it is a lot less common. ;)

I am appreciate of what you do M. I am also grateful that guys like you exist for our benefit.

Repairing and fixing watches that came from the factory is one thing: With those, you at least have a laundry list of 95% things that could go wrong.

Undoing someone else's blunders takes a lot more skills and knowledge, because a lot more could go wrong, depending on the skills(or in this case, the lack of it) of the "watchsmith" who "did the work" before you. Undoing the damage, and then fixing the original problems is starting from negative ground.

kernow's watch does look mangled and I hope that it gets fixed good.

  3. New to the rep watch scene but quickly gathering as much info as I can. I've always been a fan of luxury watches. Just purchased my first rep a Panerai 224. Looking forward to purchasing/trading for more and absorbing all the knowledge you guys have.
