The cyclops does not have double AR so I don't think it's a v4 mate. Could be a hybrid of parts like you mentioned bro.

The best version to date, all things considered, is the KW V3. I'm generally not a fan of Kuvarsit watches, but their bronzo is something else.

d. improvement in the minute hand lume color. V3 is greyish while V4 is closer to white, which is closer to gen.

Actually, Folex my brother, the moment you check in here, the master is you. You are far more familiar than the diver evolution and intricacies than I can ever hope to be.

I think when you finally decide to get a rep diver, that one would be the best. Mine is far from it. lol.

Love the new yachtmaster.. reminds me somewhat of the Blancpain FF in RG..hmm

When I first saw the 587, I thought the "Marina Militare" fonts looked too thick on the dial when compared with the gen.. 

The watch looks very good though.. congrats and wear her well.

I have a jf v3 but changed the hour hand with a noob one (correct white lume) and swapped the xtal out with a profsteve xtal which is amazing. If I were you I would also go with the noob v4 and add a 2 sided ar'd xtal since it makes the watch truly stunning! The carbon pattern shouldn't be different since I guess the case is provided by the same maker for all versions from v3 onwards

The double AR would ironically make it better than the gen one though  

The gen AR is a nice and clear single side one. The only difference between the V3 and V4, in my opinion, are:

a. crystal AR is improved (nothing that aftermarket AR cannot solve)

b. cyclops double AR 

c. slightly better case finish (you can polish the V3 case yourself to make it as good or better)

You just need a quality low beat movement and this would be a watch that is almost 1:1...

And yes, to the OP, the FC version is more accurate than the stainless steel version, mainly because of the inner bezel.

Welcome back alfa1 and your statement about wearing them all with equal pride succinctly sums it up about what it should be like for each one of us here:

Pick your own watch, and wear it well. Gen, modified, replica, or canal street trash, as long as it makes you happy, it is serving its purpose well.

This is why I apologised, when I realised it was replica watch guide I wrongly assumed it was all about £20 cheap Chinese fakes. Again, my apologies.

The difference between you and countless others before you, is that you have the gall and heart to stand out and apologize for something you feel is wrong, rather than keep bulldozing your way through senselessly. I for one appreciate that greatly. Respect to you sir.

The watches built by many members in RWG are impressive to say the least, and would stand up to the scrutiny of 99.9% of the world population. Having said that, there ARE such things as 20 quid chinese replicas of course. They are just not the primary type of watches we discuss here. We do not condemn that kind of watches and their collectors here either, but the discussions mostly focus on better built replicas. 

Fundamentally, a fake watch is a watch that is not a real working watch. A replica watch is one that emulates a certain genuine brand make and model, and a good replica watch actually attains at least 90%-95% similarity to the genuine one. Like your good self, I started my collection with genuine watches, and slowly I dwell into the world of replica watches over the past few years and discovered one of the smartest financial decisions in my life. Just a quick fact sheet for you and I think I speak for many here:

a. We understand very well the differences between a genuine high end brand watch and its replica counterpart. We do not attempt to pass off the watches as real. We wear the watches for our own leisure and not to impress anyone else..

b. There are many grades of replica. A replica will always be a replica and would never be equal to the genuine McCoy. But there are replica watches that are good enough for owners of genuine watches.  

c. My favorite part of RWG: Watch building, modding, and the sharing of all information pertaining to this. You would be amazed at how much more could be learnt here compared with the genuine watch forums, which focus on models, prices, comparisons between models and information of a comparatively superficial level.

Here, you would find guys who are very intimately familiar with watch parts, the intricate modding process of a watch movement, and the different ways you could tinkle with a watch to improve it in countless ways. For us, the joy is in the journey.

d. We are most definitely NOT the jealous, unemployed scums you mentioned earlier. I personally know of: 2 doctors, 1 lawyer, 1 fighter pilot, 2 commercial pilots, 4 successful businessmen, 1 hedge fund manager, 2 bankers, 1 professor-lecturer at a prestigious University in Europe, and countless others who hold respectable jobs. It is more likely that you get envious of many of the watch collections available here, than the other way.

Enough rambling, welcome again to RWG and I wish you a pleasant stay here. Replace that misinformed contempt with understanding of who and what we are about, and you would do a lot better.    

Legend is correct, the AP section here is pretty slow. Obviously not as many folks here that are avid AP fans.

The biggest help to a fast sale are fair price, lots of good well focused photos and a complete description. Just imagine that you are selling your AP to a complete noob. You need to describe it fully and accurately. For instance there is a nice ROO for sale on another forum. To me, it's overpriced, but the description is inadequate. For example he states "Vac ultimate mods" now if you are familiar with Vac, and you know what his ultimate mods are, you are OK, but if you don't, you will look at the price and immediately move on.
