Other than the gen and the modded pieces, I would say the Noob V4 is the best out of the box, considering the inner bezel, hands, dial details, crystal AR, cyclops AR, case and movement. 

Of course, this may change, as always, with the iteration...

I am sure you are as deserving as any one of us. No less.

It is just that with any community (watches or otherwise), business or transactions are done with people we know and trust. Yes even familiarity does not exempt anyone from the possibility of fraud and scams, but its still better than a wild stab in the dark with a person of unknown reputation. 

I have mentioned, that it is still possible for you to purchase this GP from a member who tire of it down the road. It would help if you could build up your trade reputation and network of friends in here meanwhile, to facilitate your future trades.

Just because you are new, it does not mean that you are any less trustworthy than the best of us. But nobody would know you until you hang around, contribute, and show yourself to be a person of integrity. I am sure that its not a difficult task for you if you intend to stick around.

Honestly, even if there were 10 pieces offered today, I doubt that you would get to buy it. Its not the money I am talking about.

The "slots" as you called them, were offered to trusted members of good standing. I see that you have been here for a day with 4 posts,so, that could work against you, seeing that the watch is a high value one.

Of course, you would still be able to buy them, if you are lucky, off someone here who already owns one of the 10, and if they wish to sell.

Agreed, I went to a boutique to check the gen out and it is indeed undetectable by eye. 

This rep is so good, that the only actual way to tell its a rep on a wrist is by saying "Noob factory" in the presence of the wearer and the spouse and see if you get a reaction.

Hmmm I might get a Daytona and/or a Portuguese chrono then...

Over the past few months, I have fitted ETA mainsprings (or commonly called swiss mainsprings) in my rep ROOs.

Compared with the asian mainsprings supplied with the watch originally, the swiss mainsprings have much higher tensile strength, and provides much stronger force to drive the gears, overcoming the inherent friction present in the A7750 sec@12 designs much better. Also, the swiss mainsprings provide a much better power reserve compared with the asian ones. (about 55+ hrs compared with the 40ish hours for asian mainsprings). Timekeeping, power reserve, and reliability all show marked improvement in my watches fitted with the swiss mainsprings. Best $65 ever spent!

I definitely strongly recommend it over the jewel mod. I own watches with the 3 jewel mod, the ETA mainspring mod, and one watch with both mods. In my opinion, all of them run EQUALLY well. So why spend more time and money on the 3 jewel mod when a much simpler and cheaper solution does the same thing, and provide better power reserve simultaneously?

There was no need to post that stuff here. SSteel is a trusted watchsmith here and I've read nothing but good things about him. It seems to me that the issue is about communication and expectation rather than any issue with actual competency. The best chef in the world cannot be expected to make steak if given only cabbage as the ingredient.

It seems that this is an effort by an individual to disparage SSteel out of disgruntled vindictiveness.

This thread should be closed, there is no basis to try to create public bias against a reputable watchsmith.

Let's not sensationalize the issue.
