The movement is definitely healthy! 

The Powermatic 80 is a top-quality movement, it's COSC and a real juggernaut. I was reading some threads comparing it to the Rollie 3135. 

Very wise upgrade 

+1. The P80 is actually a rather basic movement technically, but a real workhorse. It is the upgrade I would recommend most for diver owners who wish to keep their watches for a long time.

I would just openly say that $350 or even $500 is not worth opening a paypal dispute over, unless it is the last transaction with other members (or even dealers) you wish to make in the hobby. Reasonable men solve problems together, not point fingers at each other. What has happened in this case has been unfortunate, and to help both seller and buyer, I am willing to donate some money to help mitigate the situation. Just hit me up bro when you are ready. 

Lets not blow this out of proportion, and contain the problem wisely instead.. Its only a watch guys, one which likely would be flipped again to another member some time down the road. Lets be thankful that this is not a unique, highly modded, franken, or high value piece where the loss would be a lot more than money..

Its a Rolex assumed fake first that's why one should buy a Gen Does not cost much to wear the real thing past the initial investment. It's like currency on your wrist. Always worth $1000-$1200 less than you paid. So its costing you three funky reps to wear the real thing and in five years when the new one goes up you can get even more of your money back.

The way I see it. If you have to ask , it's likely a fake. Most Rolexes in the wild are assumed fake. The most replicated watch ever.

BTW That is a REP in a few ways.

No need for paypal disputes and such. Paypal disputes would only create future problems for the person who started it, reputation wise.

Lets all breathe, take things in perspective and not make a whirlwind out of the matter.

 

Recently, I encountered a $550 problem with a reputable modder, who returned my watch DOA and looking as though he invited every dog in his neighborhood to chew on it before packing it and returning it to me. I am establishing my facts now before writing to the modder, and even in this case, I see no need for paypal disputes. So relax a little, and lets talk like reasonable gentlemen.

Anyone buying up cheap vintage Tudor watches 10 years ago will have seen their average price go from under $600 to over $6000, with some examples well over $12,000. Buying new Rolex is not a real investment at it's inflated price unless you are going to keep it for 40 years, and people still think they are cool then.

Seems you have still have trouble with reps, trouble with knowing what is actually happening around you, trouble using simple quotes, and trouble fitting in.

How are those used Rolex, tired Vette, and tiny sized Harley D "investments" doing by the way? I'm sure your nephew will enjoy selling them, or running them into the ground when you are gone.
