  1. Every body knows the quality of a wristwatch forum is directly proportional to the amount of half naked women in people's signatures NOT to the amount of members it has.

I have never actually posted on repgeek but if that's the case, that they are faking member stats, then that my friends is LOW.

  2. Have you tried calling the Pope a Nazi? That's usually good for 5-6 pages. If the traffic hadn't picked up over the last few months I was going to start an OT thread myself. "President Obama; I would probably like him more if he only got C's at Harvard too".

I can't believe 'Corgi' doesn't like my signature gif. It's hot.

Whether i like it or dislike it is irrelevant. It is absolutely inappropriate for a forum of this kind. If you want this kind of stuff, type "naked lady" into google and have fun. RWG is about watches first and you guys who appear to be lacking human female contact can keep it in that one dedicated porn thread which I believe is the longest thread on RWG.

Turning off everybody's signatures is unfair to those of you who actually have clever, creative, and helpful things to say/show with the rest of the community. For example, that one guy who took a photo of mars, hey, I think that's interesting and very nice! But if you just have jiggling boobies - I will think, hey!, you are a degenerate.

  3. As a side Corgi.. to print my whole screen and post it on the net is this just being malicious ??.. :brow:

    not cool at all.

It's a screenshot of my screen, not yours. Nothing pictured there that everyone can't already see. I'm not some kind of elite hacker lanikai. Chill.

Don't even get me started on how sexual RWG has become. All of these .gifs of women stripping and [censored] flashing on your screen. You know some of us have computers in the living quarters of our house and kids and WIVES? Hardy har har... Corgi must be gay!!! No, Corgi just thinks a forum called REPLICA WATCH GUIDE should be about REPLICA WATCHES not REPLICA [censored]. I would become an ultra super duper supporter if there was a button to turn all of your softcore off on RWG. J.H. TAP DANCEING CHRIST.

DISCLAIMER: I borrowed the above from a random search on RWG, it's not to say this specific watch, or dealer, is flawed, but rather the concept of Hublot reps in general is ludicrous.

This is THE watch that was responsible for raising all of the prices in the industry, so now if you want a half decent rep you have to shell out minimum $400 or for something like the above, $750+. Talk about extravagant - is it really a fun hobby anymore when a watch with the same rusty POS asian movement they sell for pennies in china goes for THIS MANY HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS? It makes me want to scream.

So you have a big tacky watch with the hilarious 7750 sunken datewheel for an absurd price. It's no wonder these things saturate our beloved for sale section. They are a joke! I laugh at anyone who wears a Hublot rep in public - ha ha ha! I don't know about LUNA ROSA - but I do know you would have to be a LUNA-TIC to throw your money away on one of these catastrophes!!

You know you agree with me, too, you're just afraid to admit it (or you were peer pressured by our local forum millionaires to take out a second mortgage so you could buy one and it now sits in your drawer collecting dust!!!)

  5. They really should have put more effort into replicating the blue "seconds indicator" sitting atop the tourbillon carriage. Even with that little fantasy interpretation this watch remains one of the sharpest looking seagull tourbillon based reps I've seen in a long time. Congratulations.

  6. Does it have to match formally? Because I would say get a set of Franck Mullers... the women's reps are very good and the options for men are varied enough that you should be able to pick one you enjoy. I think it's silly to have matching watches but hey, what do I know?

  7. I wear Mont Blanc sunglasses, but I've been thinking of selling them because they don't fit me correctly. The seller said "one size fits all" but I think he meant "one size fits all mike duffy"...

Incidentally, does anyone know how to macgyver a pair of sunglasses that are too big so they don't slide off your nose every ten seconds?

  8. I think he means a Russian tourbillon.. Poljot made one but at $6,000+ it is expensive and there is little known about the movement.

This watch was crafted to commemorate cosmonaut Alexey Leonov`s exit from a spaceship out into open space. The tourbillon-movements are revised at the workshop of the company "Poljot -International" in Germany and undergo a large-scale trial run in order to guarantee prime quality. Delicate plates with the inscription "Tourbillon" and the serial number of each watch can be found on the left and right patr of the guilloched dial. The upper section holds a 24-hours display. The tourbillon bridge is shaped like an arrow and throught an opening in the dial you are able to see the embossed words of the dedication "Strela II of A. Leonov" as well as "Limited Edition". The tourbillon serves as a means to compensate for the gravitational force witch would otherwise affect the watches accuracy. The owner of the first tourbillon watch is cosmonaut Alexey Leonov.
