  1. wHO ARE YOU? TTK'S BOY TOY??? YOU'RE NOT WORTH IT
  2. Neil, I kind of know that already.....but I don't have the mental capacity to talk to you and I'm sorry if my comprehension is beyond your genius, but if you are a real gentleman all I asked from you is to honor your commitment and send us what we paid for or you are just a PLAIN SCAM CON ARTIST! SO, EITHER PUT YOUR COJONES WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS AND SEND MY WATCH OR YOU JSUT TELL ME NOW AND ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE! CAPICE!
  3. So, Neil, what do you propose to replace the GMT with???? And Since you have my DRSD IN the UK already, would you be kind enough and tell your courier to send that now! If you are serious about meeting your commitment, then give us a choice as a replecement for the GMTs! Thanks!
  4. Good luck on your wait......it might be awhile!!! Me? I'm waiting for this same one from Mr one and only TTK... But...this would suffice for now:
  5. I apologize, silly me to assume that everyone are into PAMS! Sorry Jon! I couldn't explain it better than that! Well said, sire! Thank you very much!
  6. You're not BSing me, rt??? That's a good one!!!!
  7. I'm not a Panerai expert, but I don't think they made the Black Seal in an Automatic movement......I'll be interested to know if they did and what model????
  8. Hi Chris! Welcome! Hope you do well! BTW: I sent you a WELCOME email....and I'm US based!
  9. And I second that......what do you say ADMIN Group??? Please let us know what you think? Is the ADMIN suppose to act as an Arbitrator on situations like this with Priviledge collectors? Thanks!!!
  10. I'll be ordering the brown/red soon!
  11. Well Mr. Narikaa, thanks for informing us.....but if you could type, I'm pretty sure TTK could itype, too and inform all of us as well! Are you he's spokesman now??? He visited today, so why can't he type? Or maybe his other half or secretary is typing for him!
  12. I agree with both of you 110%!!!! I know I bought a REP and I accept it as what it's about......sh@t, if you want it perfect then buy a GEN! If it's close enough, then great, if not, then don't buy it. I don't get the point of spending more money on a rep to get it as close to the gen as possible. By the end of the day, its still a rep! The same thing as servicing and ARs and lumes.....just don't get it! As you said, 90% or more of the population don't know crap from GEn.......Just my personal opinion....not to flame the anal types!!! I have friends, co-workers, acquaintances who are professionals, you name it...and none of them had called out my reps yet.......I save my modding money and buy GENs if I wanna feel real! Just me.......
  13. Hi ssurfer....you're most welcome here......actually I'm surprised you just posted now! Good to hear from you! Thanks........and I know how you feel!!!!
  14. Gaaaaad!! How could I have missed this....must be the title you give it Cat! I'm so sorry to hear about your predicament, but at the same time very happy that you're doing well...for some reason I'm glad I found this just when you are well into your recovery!!! more power to you and my prayers are with you and your family! I know how you and your family feel......both my parents have cancer and both are doing well and responding to their meds! Wishing you fast recovery and a Happy Life.......Hala Bira!!!!! Hike

  16. My heartfelt thanks to The Zigmeister, MVB and Pug for replying to this post/topic! The information provided by these GENTS were priceless....and I'm pretty sure the whole community appreciated it, too! Thanks again guys!
  17. Hi Pug! Could you elaborate more on your procedure? Does this apply to the Swiss 2836 series and the Asian Version or to all the movements? Thanks Hike
  18. Hahahahaha!!!! Now, that's really funny! That test would be the end of this watch! I'll just probably take it hiking in one of the Colorado Fourteeners next month and see if I could bang it in one of those rocks up there! Now this, I could do! I'm doing my dishes this Friday, so I'll load it at the same time! Test pictures coming up soon!!!!
  19. I could do it! .....but how can I prove it....I can't fit in my dish washer to take the picture....maybe I could rig my camera to take a shot during the wash/spray cycle......hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Interesting idea, though I already was thinking about it.....
  20. Thanks again! That's what worried me! I guess I'm better off buying a new Asian 21J! The 6497 was a breeze! Now I have to build the courage to do a Swiss 2836......and that's like most of the rollies I have! I guess greasing the O-ring on the tube from the outside without removing the steam would work just fine....and also putting some around the inner portion of the crown! Thanks again RG!
  21. Thanks a lot, RG! I think you pointed out where I did it wrong........that is, I was pressing the stem release pin while inserting the crown and pin!!! By doing this, I must have knocked out the clutch gear out of place, because now, it will not lock into position. This is BTW on a 21J movement, but I assume should also be true on a Swiss??? To fix the clutch gear or to put it back in place, does it need a complete dis-assembly of the movement??? Would the cost of this kind of service the same as buying a new movement? I guess on the 7750, it is the same procedure as the 6497. Again, thanks for your expert advice! Priceless!!!! Hike
  22. Try a little bit of grease!
