  4. Awesome collection, what's the roo on the 6th pic down, right side? Loving that white face rc too, think my black face version needs a friend.....
  5. Happy Birthday Greddyl30pjg!

  6. Appreciated. Had a mail back from the TD, he's not shipped the bezel yet so I'm gonna send it back for a repair rather than messing about with it.
  7. My heart sank when i opened it- i wanted one desperately since last October but i was told to wait for the V3 as it was coming out 'soon'! Here we are over half a year later and i was gutted to see it was damaged. Ive just mailed the dealer in the hope that he hasnt sent out the bezel yet. i think sending back is probably the better option with my limited knowledge. I just hope that if i send it back it doesnt get lost in the post, take too long or get swapped for one with bad lume or mis-aligned inner bezel If a watchsmith wouldnt charge much for the work i might look into that as i will have to pay postage anyway to return it & i would avoid the long wait....Its a shame Mikey doesnt live around the corner!
  8. Nice one Mikey, much appreciated- although im having second thoughts about doing it. Heres my dilema. I ordered a V3 diver from a TD- the guy i always use (who has always been helpful!). The watch arrived & was one of the best ones i have seen! The bezel aligns perfectly, the lume is great! A brill example BUT...it had been damaged in transit- the bezel had a nasty ding in it. I had 2 options- send back or have a bezel sent so i can repair. I went for the replacement bezel as i was concerned about sending it back to china i.e. losing it in the post, im having second thoughts now. Although i dont want to sacrific this great example for one with sloppy lume or a mis aligned bezel im concerned i might not be able to take it to bits and fix. Im happy with removing the rear screws & making something to remove the bezel nuts but after that im concerned. I would need to take to a watchsmith to have the crystal swapped into the new bezel and im not confident removing the gaskets & inner bezel. Especially as the new diver has a different rotating system for the inner bezel..... I think i may now ask the dealer to hang fire with the replacement bezel and send this back......and wait again What do you guys think- return or fix?? How much would a watchsmith charge to do this work??
  9. Hey Mike- any chance of refreshing those pics?? Need to replace the bezel on my diver & this would be veeeeeery helpful.
  10. Its not THAT bad is it?!?!?! I intended to follow Mike00's tutorial for 'repairing scratched bezels' then i realised.....i havent got a crystal press! I may just removed the bezel & get the crystal swapped at a watchsmiths OR just get them to do the swap. Just figured id rather get the replacement bezel than take a risk on the postage- plus the watch seems perfect bar the dint.
  11. ...that triangle is so small in person it will be hardly noticable!! Your lucky- mine arrived yesterday a whilst the lume is bang on the bezel has a large scuff on it- looks like it was done in transit : ( (the TD is sending me a replacement bezel as i was a little worried about sending it back- not much luck with postage just lately!) Good luck & enjoy- its a quality rep!
  12. That is a stunner, if only they made a decent rep for us poor folks! Congrats....
  13. Cheers for the replies and the wrist shots guys...ummm those lugs do stick out the top/ bottom quite far. Dont like it when they over hang the wrist, really on the fence.....
  14. Hi guys. Looking to buy a nice dressy watch for work as most of mine are on rubber straps (pam 026, 253, Ap rc, diver & omega po). Really like the 288 and have done for a while now so thinking of taking the plunge. The only thing that concerns me is the size, I'm worried it may be too large having viewed a few pics (reviews give contradictory info, some says it wears large others say it wears small for 45mm). My pam 026 is perfect for my 7" wrist, the 253 is fine too but doesn't sit as comfortably. Does anyone know how the 288 wears in comparison to the 2 mentioned above?? Lugs do look like they stick out a good way... Wristies welcomed! Thanks in advance guys.
  15. Have you considered a Diver?? 300$ price bracket & stunning!!
