If you get a real movement and dial you have a re-cased Rolex! The case it the least exciting part of a Rolex, although it is the most expensive part..

That listing is from 2009! There is no way you got a real gmt movement for that.. maybe a 1570 converted to gmt hand..

How did you get a gen gmt movement for free? The movement is worth 2,000-2,500 alone..

I was looking around the forum and noticed several amazing 1655 builds using gen movements and dials. The questions is what does a build like that cost and how close is it to the real thing? Anyone do a side by side with a real 1655?
