i agree. I've done numerous hours of research before I purchased mine. I ended getting two since they were amazing out of box, ready to wear. Only obvious tells were AR is not so accurate. Don't get me wrong, I think the factory AR is superb. but I believe the gens have blueish hues. Also the dial color is a bit off. The word "seconds" is thinner. The sub dials are just a tad thinner. But thats just nitpicking and comparing them side by side. and the case back has a grainy/sandblasted effect. reps, not as grainy. Only mod I would do is pickup a croc strap. its a mission since most only make 22 and 24. Chopards are 23mm. Sorry, didn't mean to threadjack.

amazing collection. Does your Don Ramon say "Don Bamon"? do you know when or if the dealer will fix this? It's one on my wish list but that case back is deterring me.

how much does this service run? also, how much extra would it be for the cyclops to be AR'd as well? I think I just became a fan of the Volcano.

I think you can find HKTan in the forums. Also, APBands has some. If those are too pricey. Check the classifieds section. Sub-forum Straps. I think I saw a Donerix Hornback in brown. It'll go well with the Safari. Was going to purchase that strap for myself once I pull the trigger on the Safari. But looks like you'll have one on your wrist before me.

if you ever decide to sell your croc strap. i'll take it off your hands. also, can you provide wrist shots? I have the same (white dial) and RG white dial. whats the buckle size? i wonder if it'll fit the stock deployant buckle.
