  1. I have never tired to remove those links with the dimples, but my bracelet fits very tightly where it meets the watch case. In fact, it is so tight that it gives the appearance that the last link is actually part of the case (it is not). It does not move at all. It sounds like your last link is just a little to small, causing it to move around. This may be a flaw in your particular bracelet, because I have not heard of anyone else complaining about this problem. Do not try to use the date quickset feature between 10:00 PM and 3:00 AM or you will damage your movement. Also, do not hit the chrono reset button while the chronos are running. Always stop the chrono before hitting the reset, or you will damage the movement. Dont play with the chronos unless the watch is fully charged. There is a lot of information on this site about these things to avoid with this movement. I would read up on it quickly.... Congrats on your first rep! Thats a nice one to start with.
  2. I am sure it is a Link Chrono. I have a Link Chrono one on my rist right now, and this must be a new Gen model. I looked at it again today, and it is really nice. It has the Calibre 16 automatic movement. The watch had a sticker price of $3,000, which is quite a bit higher than the regular Link Chrono (he got if for $2,600). This will be really easy for the rep manufactures to reproduce, as it uses the same case and dial. They will just need to put the saphire display case back on and change the clasp to the double push button clasp. Look for this new model the next time you are at the AD.
  3. A friend of mine just purchased a new grey dial Gen Tag Link Chrono from an AD. It is a little different than our favoroite rep because it has a display case back and the the clasp has a double push button release rather than the fold over clasp on all of our watches. The rotor says Calibre 16 on it. The dial is identical to our reps and so is the bracelet (other than the clasp). Is this a new gen model? If so, I hope a rep is made because I really like the display case back.
  4. Yes, I saw that thread from last year. But this watch is a little different, as it does not say "Automatic" on the dial and mine does have the 9:00 crown. Its really nice, but I cant seem to take my Link Chrono off my wrist so its not getting any wear....
  5. Pix - I didnt get them from one of our dealers. I have an international flight attendant friend that got them for me. Check out the new topic I created yesterday with pictures of the watches.
  6. There are automatic versions of the SLR out there. I just aquired two of them this week, and the back dial one even has the correct black date window. I owned a quartz version of the SLR as well. They are nice watches, but they are not in the same league as the Link Automatic with the highbeat Asian 7750.
  7. I see a lot of information about the quartz SLR reps out there (and owned one until about a week ago), but I was very surprised when an international flight attendant friend of mine brought me back a black automatic SLR with the correct black date window. Does anyone know anything about this rep? The day chrono is set by a hidden pusher at 8:00, and the date is set with the 3:00 pusher. It has a really tight fitting (around the case) leather band that is marked as Tag on the leather and on the buckle. I has a mineral glass crystal. The case is about 44mm and its about 50mm crown to crown. The inner bezel rotates if you turn the 9:00 crown. I dont know what movement it has or what it might be worth. Do any dealers sell this watch? She also gave me a white faced SLR Automatic with blue rings around the 3 and 9 sub dials. It has a red hand on the 6:00 (military time) sub dial. and it came on a LINK bracelet. The case is about 42mm and its about 48mm crown to crown. The white one has a saphire crystal. I know its a fantasy watch, but it looks pretty good! Here is a picture of the white one: They are both pretty nice watches. I am thinking of listing them in the Trade section and could probably get more of them if there was any interest. Any information about these reps would be helpful. Thanks, Tag Man
  8. I just received the black dial version with the Tachmetre on the bezel (it says model number WJF2112 on the back) and it has lume on the hands and small squares above the hour markers.... The watch is amazing...
  9. Is this watch available? There is not one of TTKs "Sales Item Numbers" on the picture like there normally is. Anyone buy one of these yet? Is it available in the black or brown version as well? What movement does it use? Ive gotta have one... Thanks,
  10. I was just given this all Silver TAG LINK Professional watch as a gift and wondered if anyone here could provide me with information about this watch. My sister-in-law is an international flight attendant, and she purchased the watch for me when in China. The pictures do not do the watch justice, as it was very difficult to photograph. Is this a fantasy watch, or is it a real TAG model? I have not seen any discussions in this forum regarding the LINK Professional, and wondered if it is rare or common. The all-silver face and 3 working dials are beautiful. Is the all silver face common? I do not know a lot about reps, but this watch seems to be very high quality. It is very heavy and the face is perfect. The date wheel is flawless. The watch is very similar to the LINK Automatic pictures that I have seen, except the hands are a different shape and the watch band latch is a different style (double latch that makes the band seamless at the latch). Is this considered to be a low quality TAG rep or a high quality rep? Does anyone know what kind of movement this watch uses? The second had does not sweep (it ticks). What is the value of this watch? Any information would be appreciated. I cant believe how much I like this watch!! I hope my sister-in-law gets me additional TAGs when in China, as I am hooked. Thank you.
