That's a nice collection you have there.

Mine is building slowly and a 196 is a must.

I have some watches I don't wear very often as they have fallen out of favour but I can't bring myself to selling.

Sometimes I see something in a wristy or a new owner proudly showing off their new piece and I'm captivated again

by what was just sitting collecting dust.

My favour is fickle I guess.

May I ask which strap the 196 is wearing?

Is there any way to align the 12 o'clock markers on the bezel and dial without busting the whole thing open? Mine is off about half a click, and it's driving me nuts

Are you talking about the rehaut perhaps? The rehaut is attached to the dial under the crystal.

This is a different issue from the bezel.

The rehaut on the SOSF can be out of alignment and the only way to correct it is to remove the rehaut from the dial.

Relocate it and then reinstal the dial.

I prefer the stick markers on Breity's.

Can't really explain why. Maybe because I think Breitlings have a toughness and elegance at the same time and stick markers

seem to be more consistent with that feel.

The dial has a better balance of composition.

Oh, I don't know, they just look better.

Try your Collector for a crystal replacement.

Regarding the 127, how is old is it? Should be returned to the Collector if it's new.

I have read and DSN has confirmed he is now useing the standard rep case for his pieces now.

Contact him to make sure.

cause mine upo suffers from it for second time as far as first time i sent it back to far east to be fixed and now the same issue.

Yes, Swiss parts fit.

Ofrei and others can supply a Gen crown and tube.

Fell out of love; I do this all the time with my watches.

Main reason why I chose reps, if I had one or two gens they would probably just sit in the box after a while.

Gotta have variety but it's hard to imagine losing too much interest in that one Bazz.

Now where's that watch box?

Funny thing about the Skyland is I had had to have one, bought two, and now I rarely wear them.

Just too top heavy, but just love looking at that dial.

Why can the manufacturers make more complicated watches more accurate than these relatively simple designs?

I have the asian model SFSO and would like to replace it with a sapphire crystal and get it double A/R by Cheif. I could try to have Chief double A/R my mineral crystal....but might not get the same results as I would if I had the sapphire crystal.

I have had double AR applied to mineral crystal and the results are very good, but not as good as saphire.

That watch is hardcore!!

I like both but agree the black does look sharper.

I have the blue and the slate, although I thought that two in slate had been delivered.

It wasn't until I had removed the plastic and moved into more light that I realised that one of them was indeed, blue.

It isn't like the other Breity blue dials, this is much better.

The previous 212 was made by a different factory than the 253.

The new model 212 I thought was made by the same factory but having seen your photo I'm not so sure.

If they are from two different factories there may be issues with a transplant.

There is but one way to find out.
