hey, this is my current project ! I have a gen. "swiss" dial (no spiderweb problems ) and still hesitate to cut the dial feet off. should I wait for an affordable 1520 movement ? where do I get tudor hands ?

hey M, cool down, all you need is patience. (A lot of patience). I managed to assemble all parts by myself. (only had the movement serviced by a watchmaker) You can visit me (bavaria) if you like and we solve the problem together.

.. please note that the links are not folded like the gen. vintage bracelets ( one piece construction). They are folded like seiko bracelets (2 pieces).

I was able to do it myself on my 16520. PM me for helpful hints.

dw has a case for his mystery movement (like val. 23 with fake hrs counter) and a case for val. 72 differences: depth of rehaut and position of crown (val. 72 is thicker than val 23) I have both here. a complete mystery movement dw 6265 still in working condition and a val 72 case kit ready to assemble.
