I have tried to find an answer is search but have not had any luck. Can a new watch that is advertized as having 5 microns heavy rose gold plating be plated after purchase with another 5 microns? I want a rose gold watch for Christmas but had the idea of having it plated immediately so I can use it on a daily basis without worry. Maybe 5 microns is already enough. I am leaning towards a Franck Muller Casablanca from Trusty.
