What is the difference between DLC and PVD? I am interested in a Trusty Franck Muller Black Casa which is PVD.

I cannot spot any differences between the gen and rep Black Casa, but I am terrible at spotting differences. Does anyone see anything?

Maxman, the video you posted is very interesting and brings to light the corruption of african governments with the full support of the west. I know that Africa is the most corrupt continent on the planet with immense natural resources controlled by a few multi billionaire leaders who remain in power thanks to the USA, Europe, China and Russia - as well as other developed countries. I do however find the clip from RT news to be one sided. I watch RT regularly, especially when I travel throughout Europe. It is just as one sided and pro-Russia as FoxNews is pro conservative tea party. RT supported the dictators in northern Africa during the recent revolutions and also supports Syria. I cannot believe that their reporting is ever going to be free of a pro Russia anti west agenda. I hope you have had a chance to watch their news casts so that you will know what I mean. As far as Uganda goes, it has been corrupt and violent since the days of Idi Amin. I think we need to address the corruption supported by our own governments. We should not, however, back away from discussing known war criminals for whatever reason. I am not going to buy one of the "kits" nor join the organization. I still believe that Kony, as well as other criminals, must be apprehended, tried, and convicted. Africa is so rich and it is so unfair to it´s own people. Look at Angola. Diamonds, oil, and other resources. Yet only a few share in the wealth. There is no real middle class. President Dos Santos, his family and friends, live like kings and invest in european banks. The people, however, suffer. The same is true in most, if not all, african regimes. I want Kony, as well as others, to be caught. Even if his reign of terror is no longer as strong as in the past, he is still a criminal. Nazi criminals were hunted for years. Crimes against humanity have no deadline. I would also like to see the west change it´s attitude towards corrupt dictators. I just don´t think that will happen during my lifetime.

The man suffered a severe nervous breakdown. This does not take away from the fact that he made the world discuss the problem of child soldiers and young girls that are victims of sexual slavery. Sadly the sensational tabloid interest about a nude man suffering a breakdown will take center stage. The fact that thousands of young children were forced to kill their parents and then abducted will now take back burner. God save us.

You started this thread by posting links to 2 videos with particular interest on the video of the girl. I posted a linl to a video and article that supports the validity of the campaign - a video by an actual ex child soldier who lived through the experience and supports the effort of the San Diego based group. Whether or not you agree with this ex soldier I still believe that he knows more about the situation than a girl living in the security and comfort of the United States. Granted, she has family there and visits regularly but her situation is not the same. I do believe that there would be casualties in an attempt to capture Kony, but I believe the alternative would be worse. How many more have to be kidnapped, raped, and killed until the world wakes up and does something. At least this campaign has made us aware of the situation. Now no one can claim ignorance. Do we react against the child torturers or do we start a counter campaign against the group that brought all of this to light?

Everyone seems to recommend the V6 stainless steel model. Is the rose gold not good? Has anyone seen the gen and can compare the color of the gold to the rep? If the gold color is the same I want a V6 ceramic-gold model.

Please forgive me for asking a newbie question, but can any qualified watch repairman service the A7750 or must it be someone specialized in rep watches that use this movement? If I were to ask a repairman to service the movement is there anything in particular that I should for? My watch is a Breitling Flying B.

No it does not matter but we are talking reps and everyone points out even more minute details, some only visible under a magnifying glass. With gold reps the hallmark is a nice touch.

the hublot bb on andrews site shows this http://www.yourtrust...roducts_id=8344 look at the 7th photo, the watch back. you will see gold 750. on a few reps the stamp is between the lugs. some other reps have gold hallmarks too.

I have seen it on Rolex between the lugs and on Hublots on the back of the case. Some watches have it on the inside of the case. The Hublot BBs have gold 750 stamped on the back of the case. My next 2 watches will be a FM Casablanca and a Hublot BB.

Some rep watches actually have the hallmark or gold stamp, 18k or the european designation 750 which means the same as 18k.
