Hi Guys, Some weeks ago I started a discussion about the 029 against the 088. Many very valuable opinions were posted and I would like to thank all for contributing to my decision. As the advocates for each model were very thorough and knowledgeable I could not come to a conclusion and decided to get both. The 029 arrived first and, oh boy, what a watch. The 088 arrived today. I love it. A heavy piece of work and very handsome. My only question with it is that looking at it from certain angles the glass creates a heavy distortion on the face of the watch. This may be OK due to the format of the glass, but still I wanted to ask you all if this is OK and if the gen ones also distort when seen at a narrow angle on your wrist. Hi guys, I am new to reps and have been collecting gens for a long long time. Still I have been amazed by the quality of the reps, especially since a colleague showed me a rep Pam 029 and, quality-wise, I could not find a difference with my gen 164 (apart from the movement). I ordered one because I could not help myself thinking about getting 95% of the watch for 5% of the cost... No idea what I will do (keep it or not) but I needed to test drive it myself. Now I got hooked with the AP diver. How good is it (accuracy-wise). Case, Face, Font, etc.etc. Is it as close to the gen as the Pam 029? Many thanks in advance for your help and Merry Christmas!

My first post here and totally new to reps. I am deciding between the 088 and 029. While I prefer as a model the 088, I understand that the 029 is potentially a better rep? Help please!
