I totally agree that getting call out is because of the image of other things , not the watch itself most of the time. yes, I am young, Only 25, But then thanks god I have a okay job , drive a BMW , and my other assessery are all gen, so I guess I am lucky to pull it off. To me, i could afford gen, its just that if we could get rep for so high grade, I would save the money to buy gen to buy other things, such as cars or wallet .. etc

So tc is closer?? Is the uncharged lume as white as gen on tc

If we be more picky on dial n hands for tc or wm9. and with out any scratches even under close up picture. then I guess with that kind if QC .. It's nothing less then a gen if its franken fully.

Rep always get call out when look up close since of those QC problem , but if we even get gen dial on 16610 rep.. we will never get call out honestly. But that's only base on subs or YM.

You guys are very right I guess. These watch only hold value here in this forum. No one really would buy a rep for these money. and no insurance cover. but if you have skill to mod your own watch then cost will be less. but honestly... if the TRF people seen these rep. I don't think they will really take a gen. only we will know its a rep.. Who really out there knows if you have gen insert , bezel , dial, crystal .. Etc of course unless they open your case back. will the QC of bk or tc.. it's good enough. all I can see from rep vs gen is the QC . Most of the QC problem I see is: scratched hands or dial markers, uneven lume . But I do seen some which have been mod by bk which does not have any of these problem. I guess if we have been more picky on the parts we use on rep. The QC should be around the same as gen. also. I k ow many people who always want to buy rep , but just worry to get call put , therefore they pay so much for a gen. but if the rep could t be call out on the appearance, I guess they would buy it, as long as they don't let anyone knows.

after the new tc or wm9 have been release to us, what's the reason to buy gen? 1: with a franken, all gen parts install, the watch is exectly the same, cost is half of gen. Especially when the tc v3 bracelet released, you can even save more money from buying gen braclet or clasp 2: gen holds value or even raise value, but so do Franken watches. at the selling price in this forum, I don't see much lost in money. 3: repairing is cheaper for reps 4: care less for being stolen or broken 5: can buy more different style for a price of 1 gen SO.... What's the reason to buy gen these days? Give some opinion of how you think.

the only thing I notice is the lume daylight color is different to gen in wm9 . How is the tc ?

Sorry man, i should be more clear to my post. I didn't buy from you my friend. I just keep on research and find that you are one of the owner to this watch. since when pass to me. The seller told me its gen... But honestly . If you stated that its Clark... I think it's Clark too. since its exectlyn the same as yours. don't mistake me at all. I am not saying you cheating me. I just said I found a post of my watch. Since I can't upload pics , so I use your link .

which dial is better? such as print , lume. which have whiter and flat lume ? Are they same size or dial feet.

Does tc dial fit wm9? No mod needed? if so , does anyone have a set to sell? Since honestly TC doesn't reply my email at all... Since last OCT I send me the last email request a v3 bracelet...

The lume is greenish on wm9. Also reason for my relume is the dial came bad on the marker at 6. The lume is weak and white . Look totally off from the rear of the dial.

I call out wm9 by the greenish lume . But I am sure most people or even used rolex seller don't know that unless they do side by side compare

I want the gen like c1 lume. Please name some to me, and who have more reasonable price . I got quote for $150 to relume wm9 dial , is it reasonable price ? I seem pbdad relume bk tw , looks good, but not sure if its the white daylight color I am looking for . Never seen it a tw in person yet. thanks

Mine is pre coronet. well the reason why I think it's not gen is the edge of the crystal. As I review many pictures , the gen seems to have a thick bevel around the edge, or maybe even two level of bevel . but mine is so thin, almost non. Kinda like the stock wm9 crystal which have the coronet.

As I keep on reading million pages, I can almost 100% sure I got faked by the seller. The watch should only got a Clark crystal , not gen. The bevel edge is very thin , as gen should be a but thicker. could anyone do a close up shoot of the bevel edge of a Clark vs gen for me please

My wm9 suppose to have gen crystal when bought from an other member. But it does really seems to have 2.5x cyclop. doesn't 2.5 x should have the date window four corner touching the cyclop corners? but when on brighter light the date seems bigger. My question is does light effect it. and if I got faked and it is stock wm9 crystal , will it have 2.5x? I don't have LEC or AR cyclop I meant it does not have 2.5x *
