Aside from some wonky markers and it being a sh1tty pic, it doesn't look that bad IMO. Hell I can't even say with confidence that its fake.

So nobody makes decent replicas of glasses? Seems really odd as they would obviously be a lot easier to copy than a watch for instance. I thought the Chinese copied everything?

Anyway, I wear Vuarnets exclusively and love them. Just thought if i could find a decent rep of the glasses below it would save me many many hundreds of dollars lol.

Anybody know a good seller? I'm looking for quality, not just looks.

Lousy pictures but I'm 99% sure that is a gen. As I recall the rep of this model used a manual wind "Lemania" movement and didn't have a date window.

Maybe in your opinion. I prefer the old one. I prefer the old Navi with its giant, easily readable Breitling font. I don't like the pearl on the Avengers. The SuperOceans are ugly, all of em. Montbrilliant date font sucks. And I much preferred the old Chronomat Evolution to the current ugly bezelled Chronomats. 

For some reason Breitling has decided to continually update classic models, unlike a company like Rolex for instance. I bet you will always be able to buy a classic looking Sub, DayDate or Date Just.

Actually I still consider that to be old style Breitling. Still has the Avenger styling and the classic Breitling date font, but I can't stand the new giant crystal pearl.

I'm with Nanuq on this one. Breitling IMO has not done anything exciting in the past decade. I'd prefer the rep makers to go backwards and do some vintage pieces. Think about how well an accurate Navitimer Fighters would go over! And i'm not talking about a crappy shiny cased, flat glass POS like they've done in the past. I'd love to see a reissue of the fantastic titanium Chrono Avenger. The AOPA Navi's would be awesome as well.

Crappy watches with Rolex or Omega stamped on them for many decades, however I wouldn't consider those to be replicas. My guess, based on the amount of info I was able to find when I started in to this hobby, is that true replicas started in the late 90s. Just a guess, but probably fairly accurate.

Word of warning, someone might seem trustworthy today, but its tomorrow that you have to worry about. What are these guys going to do with your CC info once the counterfeit watch business stops becoming profitable? Dealers don't like PayPal because it offers the buyer too much protection. There's a reason why these guys repeatedly have their PayPal accounts shut down and it usually has to do with bad customer service.

My feeling is that a relatively small number of Muslims are terrorists or even extremist. I get that. However, I also believe me that there are a hell of a lot of muslims that are privately pumping their fists when something like this happens. Even though less that 2% are extremist, how many are of the opinion of "Im against it, but they had it coming". 

That is a big problem. ISIS are bullies and some countries feel its best to avoid them. Let France and the US handle it. If we don't bug them, maybe they'll leave us alone. I know Canada is pulling out as well.

Not true Ken. I don't think there are very many, if any at all, Canadians or Americans that are at this movement actively plotting to kill muslims.

For one thing, that probably would never happen Ken. And we are not simply talking about isolated incidents either. We are talking about decades worth of bombings on ships, planes and buildings, all directed solely at civilians. These actions seem to be increasing in both frequency and severity.

Yes. To rid the Middle East of outside influence that will allow them to live life based on their ideological beliefs.

Fortunately, the civilized world would never allow a human rights tragedy like that to occur. Therefore, unfortunately this is what we have to endure until beliefs and policies evolve.

To end the war, we'll need to change the way people think… globally. That will take time.

This is indeed an act of war and the French are never to be trifled. Nationalistic resolve will seek out and destroy the heinous perpetrators of this affront to humanity and administer appropriate summary justice.

I bet they won't. Nightly bombings have proven to be nothing more than an inconvenience to ISIS. If the world wants to rid itself of ISIS we are going to have to step up the action to a lot larger scale. Not sure that France or anyone else has the balls to do that either.

Can you even call this a war? A war should consist of two sides fighting to achieve their goals, and generally they are military battles with civilian deaths being considered collateral damage. I really don't think ISIS has a goal, their agenda is simply based on hate. Is there any concession that we could make to stop them? So we are already fighting a losing battle because since ISIS has no goal, they have no reason to stop either. ISIS really doesn't seem interested in fighting fairly on a battlefield either. The are content to wreak havoc on unarmed civilians. How do we fight that? I can tell you that these random bombings will have little to no effect. Forget negotiations. Maybe its time to do something a little more drastic?

Bezel definitely won't fit.

I wonder if there are any of the V1 Chrono Avengers hanging about? Those were almost perfect but they stopped making them very quickly.
