  1. He withdrew the claim 2 days after he filed it. Paypal gave him the option to return it and I agreed. I think it was because I said if he would return the watch I would refund him. Im sure he was going to send an empty box. No refund from an empty box
  2. No, that wouldn't work either. If he sent it to me, it probably be an empty box, and would then claim I stole it. If I did accept it for repairs he would say he sent a gen and I sent him a fake. Then would file another claim with pp for the repair cost and fraud and put my pp in danger again. Hard to win with these guys unless you do nothing. Funny thing is, if he had started out telling me the truth and he was sorry for the trouble he caused, I would have fixed his watch for him. He bought it almost 2 years ago. Filed a claim 5 mos later, and only now says it has a problem. One lie after another
  3. A few months back, a person I sold a watch to filed a claim with pp that he bought a gen rolex and I sent him a fake. Today he sends me an email that he bought it from a member on rwg and it needed some work. The name sounded familar but I had not put 2 and 2 together. Then he sent me a pic of the back side of the case, and it had an 18K stamped on it. I asked if he was sure I built it, because I always remove the 18K. He said maybe It was because it had a president's bracelet. BINGO Went back through my emails, sure enough it was him. cock sucker!!!! The email he used to contact me is nedimredzovic1990@gmail.com Maybe you guys can give him a piece of your mind too.
  4. Toro is qualified for sure. That's one of the reasons I don't stock watches. I build on request. If I had a watch ready to go, I can say with certainty, the buyer would want to change something. LOL What's hot today, may not be in 3 months. But even knowing that, I still have to stock a tremendous inventory for people to choose from. Some of my gen dials have been in the cabinet for years. I wonder if that's what makes this business fun? LOL I must say though, most of my business comes from the forums.
  5. Some of you guys have immense talent. My hat is off to you. It's amazing how you figure out how to do things. I guess the old saying, " if you want something done right, do it yourself " applies here.
  6. The only thing I know for sure is that the patent on the datejust case expired sometime between 1977-79, Prior to that the cases said registered design, meaning it was patented. After that they started using orig rolex design. That meant not patented, but that rolex designed it originally. Some of the cases during the 79-8x were cases that were produced under the patent. They changed the engraving to eliminate the patent engraving. Some of them have very strange looking engraving. If you ask rolex, they are not sure exactly when their datejust patent expired. My friend that I see weekly, if not daily, worked for rolex when they were in new york. He was there for 17 years doing service every day. Some of the stories he tells about working at rolex would freak most people out. Of course it's changed a lot in the last 20 years I'm sure.
  7. Seems to me this guy is just wasting peoples time. Also, could be laying the ground work for a scam in the future. Who knows??

I'm getting the same thing. One pkg supposedly shipped on the 21rst, no tracking until the 28th. Also preparing shipment. Another order sent on the 27th, also shows preparing shipment on the 28th. My supplier said the bad weather was the reason. I guess china post is not like ours. You know, neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night LMAO
  9. I don't fully understand the post. There is no easier way to buy anything than cash. But, you do need to have the cash. Just saying you have the cash, doesn't really work. At least most of the time.
  10. No, not mbw. Canal street case. They sold those years and years ago with a quartz movement. Average price was $35 for a complete watch
  11. You will need to get a bergeon set. That will do it. I always secure my watch heads and crank down on the case back. A ball won't touch it.
  12. I cleared everything since the beginning of time. It worked LOL
  13. Since the upgrade, I can't post. I can't answer a pm, I can't reply to a post, and I can't send a pm from my computer. I tried the fix, no luck. What to do? This was done with my funky android AT&T gave me
  14. Since the upgrade I cannot do anything but read post on my computer. I can only answer on. My droid. What darejusr would you like? Can you email me direct?  matthew.wright@sbcglobal.net.net

  15. That's a date watch. Most likely it is a capped watch. It will be stainless underneath. Probably has a value of around $2500
  16. Funny droptop. My wife and I have the exact same watches LOL
  17. How about giving pp a call? They usually help.
  18. Ok, so you know that the pearl's are just luminous? There is nothing pearl about them. They simply put a dot of luminous in the metal finding, then clear it when it dries. A lot of watch makers have lumious compound. If the metal finding is secure, fix it that way. If not, replace the pearl. As for the part about following your wife, I hope your boss didn't dock you for being off work. LOL
  19. Looking good droptop!!!!! Is that a gen?!!!
  20. Stonep got a request from my email for $700 to be sent to the philippines by WU. When he emailed me to verify that, his emails went straight to my trash. The only way I found them was to type his email into Search email's. Then they showed up with a blk line through them. It was by accident I saw that the emails were in my trash. Be careful everyone, someone is on the prowl. Verify everything. It was only by an email from another member that I even knew this was going on.
