  1. Arthur, I had no idea you had this type of collection. I know some AD's in dallas that don't have that many watches. LOL Very impressed
  2. If you really wanted to go crazy, irolexu has a gen no date 1570. Wow, would that be awesome
  3. Yes you can. Be sure and use the dial ring from the 21j, it will set your stem height correctly. Be sure you donar eta has tall canon pinon, you will need it with the 21j dial ring
  4. I have. However, there are so many makers of watch cases, you don't know if it will fit your case, even though they all look the same
  5. 3035 through late 1988, not 1999. I have several dwo with open 6 and 9, so that does not confirm anything.
  6. Ther are many gens without the crown. Most of them made in the 90"s
  7. Lay the hand upside down on something firm, like a piece of thin cardboard, take a small piece of wood, like a cuticle remover that Im sure your wife uses. Then gently, very gently, roll it up the hand appling soft presure over the bend. Ck it and repeat as much as needed to remove the kink
  8. It's a mans 36mm Rolex does not make a ladies day-date. However women do wear them
  9. No. Too much rust, and rust brings corosion
  10. You need to pm irolexu he can tell you
  11. I wish I had known your were looking, I have a couple of 16800 dials, In pretty nice condition
  12. Yes they will interchange for sure. The only problem you may run into is the height of the canon pinon. Most of the time the canon pinon on the 2824 is shorter than the 2836-2, not always, but most of the time. If you have enough clearance under the crystal with the 2836-2 for the sweep second not to rub, you are good to go.
  13. I don't know if the crystal on your tc watch has a retainer, or if it presses into the case. I have crystals with the lec and I use gen cyclops on my datejust. Im not sure if it would be too much mag on your sub if it uses a retainer, sub gaskets are taller than datejust. If it is a press in, it should work well.
  14. I have a set of gen 1570 hands for a sub
  15. 11.00 used. But new expext to spend at least 20.00
  16. Who would buy it based on the add alone.
  17. I think the gens are 2mm. Lowes and home depot have metric drill bits, including the 2mm drill bit. That should do it.
  18. Ive seen this seller before, I think he is ligit. Watch looks good to me
  19. I have dial that is very smilar to it. It has the numbers like that one, but the center is smooth not grooved
  20. Most gen like constructed case will be waterproof. By that I mean, if you have a crystal that has a bezel that presses over it, most likely it is waterproof. If you have a case where the crystal presses into it, not waterproof. Of course the case tube and crown should be installed properly, and the correct gasket for the back. But, the press in crystal, will most likely leak.
  21. If the buckle also says 78360, and 78360 is stamped on the inside of the first link, and the end pieces are stamped 580B, 800.00
