I build DJ. The rehaut engraving started sometime in 06. I don't recall seeing a oyster bracelet with a polished center link before that, unless it was replaced. However they may have made some in 06 with that bracelet while they were transitioning to the engraved rehaut. The case I use all have the engraved rehaut and 18k on the lugs. I remove the 18k and use an oyster bracelet with polished center links. that fit between the lugs. The best way to go is with a gen dial, that will allow it to be cked thourghly by your friends and they won't be positive if it is or isn't.. However on the buckle, new style, is 72200, thats not the correct number for a new style buckle, other than that, it looks great.

The hair spring is broken. That is a part you should be able to source. Remember, It has got to be the exact hairspring for that movement, oterwise you will never be able to regulate the watch. If you get the wrong one it will run to fast or to slow. For a smith, not a big job.

The 7750 seems to have a stop gremlin built in! The last time it works is the day after it leaves the factory. LOL

Rolex is not really cutting off their suppliers. However, if you need a part, you must send them the old one first. Did I mention you had to be certified by them also. As of now swiss eta is being mfg. It's been a workhorse of the automatic watch industries. Im sure someday, the 2836's 24's &34's may reach 500.00 Automatico you are correct, the asian clone is not really a clone, it's a copy. The parts, right down to the screws are of very poor quality. It's like buying a bolt at a bolt store, there are bolts with no markings on the top, very poor quality, and another looks just like it, same size exactly, with 6 marks on the top, very high strength and high quality. The bolt with no markings is the asian clone, the one with 6 marks is the gen swiss..

I have been doing reps for 27 years. I always use gen swiss 2836-2 and 2834-2. I used to by them new, $30.00. And that was just buying 1 at a time. If I bought more than 1 I got an even bigger break. Of course then, I could call rolex in NY and order anything I needed, and it would be here in a couple of days. My, how times have changed

May I suggest that whatever you buy, pay the extra money and get a SWISS eta. You will be glad you did.

You know if someone contacts ebay and complains that an item might be fake, they will remove it.

The pearl should press fit into the insert. Then from the back put a small amount of super glue or 5 min epoxy and let harden. Should hold it from now on.

we opend it yesterday, 100% gen, and very nice I might add. Deals like this, is the reason we keep a stash. You never know what's around the next corner, or what the next phone call will be.

The ones I have seen with a 3035, have taken a 6.0MM crown.
