I've had a Broad Arrow (7750) for about 8 months now. Pretty much wear it everyday for work and haven't had a single problem with it, the bracelet's fine and it keeps pretty good time - on a bad day it can gain as much as 10 minutes but it's usually OK. I'd reccommend it to anyone. It's a great looking watch and at a good price too.

I ordered the SE Panerai catalogue via the website a few days ago and it arrived this morning, the package was post marked as being sent from London BTW. And yes, it's in English. I also ordered an Omega catalogue from their website and that came yesterday too. Both were free

Haven't really experimented that much, just used the overhead strip lighting for the light source... This last photo is a cropped and photoshopped version of the first photo...

Had a bit of spare time at work today and thought I'd try and put together somekind of 'Light Tent' using things that cost as little as possible and came up with something that seems to work quite well. I was on the lookout for something plastic and opaque and found an empty detergent container... Got a craft knife and cut off the top... Then turned it upside down and cut a hole in the side... As I don't have a tripod I took a strip of metal and placed it in a vice and attached it to my camera, lining it up with the hole in the plastic container... Put the watch inside, lined up the camera, set it to macro, turned the flash off set the self timer going... Pics to follow...

An IWC gets some big close ups in Lucky Number Slevin as well, no idea what model it is though. Bruce Willis wears a Panerai in this film also, couldn't catch what model but it had a stainless/Ti bracelet IIRC.

I've arranged to have my crown shipped directly to Finepics, he hasn't mentioned anything to me as regards getting delivery yet though. I'm assuming Pam is in Europe somewhere so if he posted them out last Saturday they should be arriving this week or early next week, at least for fellow Europeans anyway.

Good news sir! It's all starting to come together now, for me at least... Finepics has my 196 (7753). So far he's re-lumed it... the datewheel is on it's way and the crystal has been AR coated... Hopefully the Pam crown will arrive this week and all will be well.

I PM'd Lello a month or so ago and haven't had a reply yet. I have had no problems at all as regards contact with Pam though. Have you PM'd him? He did say in a post in this thread as to how you should contact him... "...for crowns to order please a PM with the following data -e-mail -Name -Address -quantity of crowns -for which models you get then email with all information" Hope this helps you tedbearz? Hopefully if Pam is true to his word my crown should be in the mail and will arrive sometime next week. I'll keep you all posted.
