  1. It's a Speedmaster Broad Arrow, black dial. I'm not saying my missus is thick, she knew that I had an Omega. Just that I've managed to wing it and she hasn't noticed that the PO is a differant watch as regards the BA chrono. As far as she's bothered I've got a nice Omega and it's the same one that I've always had.
  2. I'm pretty sure I've got away with it. She knows I have one Omega watch. All I need to do is get rid of the Speedmaster, then the trail of deceit is done with.
  3. I did a sneaky thing the other week and bought a Planet Ocean without telling the wife. The only problem I had was how to let her know I'd spent some money on another watch. By chance I uploaded Pugwash's pic of the black dial Planet Ocean and set it as my screensaver. So I set the PO pic as my screen saver and left it at that. As luck would have it the wife was on the computer tonight and saw the screensaver pic. She looked at it and said "Is that your watch?" "Yes it is!" I replied. I do have another Omega rep but it's a Speedmaster, she hasn't noticed the differance and I'm not about to tell her! Only problem I have now is I need to get rid of the Speedmaster!
  4. Can you take the casback off and post pics of the movement?
  5. Hahaha!! Nice one! It's even worse in the hand. I'd give it away but I'd feel mean charging someone for the postage costs...
  6. Ok here's a lume shot, charged under a spotlamp for about 3 minutes... You'll need your sunglasses on to view this... And here a wristshot, possibly the only time I'll be wearing this watch. I'll hold onto it and give it one of my kids when they grow larger wrists!
  7. A friend of mine recently got back from Hong Kong and brought me back this Panerai rep that cost him £10. Thought you might be interested to see what the cheapest of the cheap looks like. It's as light as a feather, the case back is almost flat, the rubber strap attracts bits of fluff and dirt like you wouldn't believe and as for the crown! Well I think you can see for you self! I don't have caseback opening tool but a rolled up ball of sticky tape got the back off with ease, no idea what the movement is... Haven't tried the lume out, I'll see if I can get a shot of it today and post it later on... PS sorry about the orange background, just got my first light tent today and the cleanest piece of cloth I could find to use for a background was an old bit of orange velvet...
  8. That's the WAG Spitroast edition caseback. Limited to 69 pieces if I'm not mistaken?
  9. Never had any problems as regards tracking info. Ordered and paid for an Ultimate PO from Joshua last week. Got the tracking info last saturday and checked the number on the Parcelforce website today and everything is A-OK! As usual... Status: Handed Over Parcel tracks Date Time Location Tracking Event 15-01-2007 23:57 Delivery Agent - GUANGZHOU - PTT Left origin country 15-01-2007 20:10 Delivery Agent - CHINA Collected from customer Just under 4 hours between my watch being sent out from the drop shipper until it was on a plane winging it's way to the UK...
  10. Joshua used to have them, not sure if he still does... I grabbed this pic from his photobucket page...
  11. Nice review and good choice! I've had the same watch from Josh for over a year now and have had no trouble with it at all apart from it running slightly fast every now and then.
  12. Been at work for a couple of days so have just read this thread... Good to hear you're getting better Neil, being ill over the festive period must have been a complete bummer. Thanks for the heads up on some interesting points. Take it easy sir! Hope the rest of the year is better than the start of it.
  13. There's no link in Eddie's dealer section, shoot him a PM You can see the strap if you check out the Inge Chrono pictures...
  14. Not sure if this is common knowledge but eddielee is offering the nylon strap that usually comes with the Inge Chrono as a separate item. Just ordered mine Great price too.
  15. Get well soon Neil! And while I'm at it... Happy Christmas to one and all!
  16. I hear you as regards buying the ultimate PO knowing that the gen band will fit, I almost did the same but found I can't fund the PO purchase until new year, I blame my kids and Christmas! Definitely agree with you as regards the production of the strap, there's no reason at all why this shouldn't be repped and sold in massive quantities.
  17. Just like rsv123, the only thing that has stopped me picking up a 45mm Planet Ocean is the lack of rubber strap. As soon as one's available I'm there. Count me in/add my vote.
  18. How not to rob a liquor store The funniest thing I've seen for a very long time.
  19. In the same way that Daniel oozes Bond in Casino Royale. I'm off to watch Layer Cake again...
