Hi if anyone has been looking for a good London based watch smith then londongeorge87 is your man. It is very rare to find a watch smith who will work on reps and has all the good qualities you really want, his work is great and very well priced, customer service is second to none and your watch is back on your wrist before you know it. Recent work he has carried out for me is on an IWC chrono which lost time with little reserve which works beautifully now and repaired a faulty pusher on my IWC topgun and both were done really well. If anyone requires more info please pm me

Hi I received my breitling montbrilliant lengend which I got through Andrew at trusty, all i have done is reduce the bracelet as I've got an 8" wrist and it was big on me. I was wondering what mods can be carried out on these watches bringing them nearer the gen? I understand the DW is something I have to live with. In my novice opinion the watch seems good as is but am after somebodies knowledge here. Thanks

Thanks Craig, I will get the pr needle moved, the strap made a huge difference, I doubt that there are many flawless out of the box reps out there.

Thanks for the reply,to be honest I don't actually know the accuracy of the rep I have never had a side by side comparison it, I only changed the strap as the rep strap didn't feel right and I am glad I changed it it makes a huge difference. Apart from that I am really pleased with the overall quality look and feel of the watch, and it manages to get the majority of wrist time

Hi I have a 5002 big pilot i bought from trusty and I have already put on a gen brown buffalo strap with cream stitching which looks great. I was wondering if I could manage to get a genuine crown could it be fitted? Also the dial on my watch in my opinion looks really good but thats my novice opinion so would anyone be able to advise me whether this is a worthwile mod?? Also where could I obtain these if I wanted to?

I recently started a post on here regarding the pusher coming off my portuguese, however i need to edit some content i wrote in the thread or even delete the thread altogether can somebody please help me. i can only seem to edit something i have only just wrote and this post is 3 or 4 back and will only let me quote which does not help

I can't remember how much was a fair bit though, I emailed the dealer making him aware of it and that if its not a quick fix I will be back in contact with him, the only reason I am not returning it straight away is the time of sending it to and from China it took weeks to arrive

Can anybody share some knowledge. Please I really want to get it fixed

Hi i am new to rep watches and to this forum, my first watch arrived yesterday an IWC 46mm topgun doppel from trusty and the top start/stop button pusher has popped of and now wont stay on. Is there a way i can fix it or is there someone I can be recommended who i can send the watch too? Apart from that I love the watch
