  1. The dial is an obvious tell, but the watch itself seems like its good quality. Furthermore there is trouble with the movement due to the chronograph being more susceptible to breakdowns in the future. But it looks good, I'm really tempted, but only for a franken with gen dial :D

  2. dial texture is not reflective enough, dial print too anemic, font kerning is off, luminous too lumpy and matte, should be semigloss and much finer texture. tachy ring print is a bit off, handstack has minor nits, e.g. lume again a bit grainy, the black paint is flimsy and not correct texture, the chrono hand is rough. case pushers too low on the profile of the case, they cut into the bottom edge of the pillow because the movement is a thicker asian 7750 clone as oppsed the the genuine 7753 based calibre.

overall though, the cosmetics, the crystal, case & bezel geometry and superlume do their job and if you're looking at it on someone's wrist you'll be hard pressed to call these out.

I think u just took the 288 off my list bro. LOL.

Thanks for the info, very helpful :)

  3. Oh right, because i contacted them as i wanted a sub and they really gave rubbish answers to my questions. Like the customer support heidi, said the replica watches are no different to real ones and the weight even matches because they use the same 'parts' apparently. But then when puretime sales emailed me back I got a completely different answer that the weight wouldn't match. I've been really put off them by the poor customer service, I've had replys around 4 days turnaround.

I think you're talking to the wrong guy, or using instant messaging crap. You gotta email them or send them a PM through this forums. From my experience, if you do send them a PM through the forums, there are only online at certain times, and hence they might only reply once a day. But they are genuine, and please do ur research regarding which watch you want before plunging into buying anything. Once you get familiar with the forums, you'd realize that not all reps are 1:1

  4. You are correct, but you must keep in mind what year they are. Each year they hold a different value. I saw some Explorer II for $3000+, but they would be sold fairly quickly.

I think the Daytona Black/red, with Arabic numerical is on my list, but it runs for like 30k+ new. Lol

  5. Gotta do your research bro. Basically the best are made by Noob Factory and H Factory. Torobravo and Puretime carry Noob factory Pams, while TD like Andrew @ Trustytime carries the H factory ones. They are all good sellers and members have got good feedback from them, but there are pro and contras to both factories. If you want a really simple answer, go for the noob, hence toro is good. Also please use the search bar.
