Hi Rob, Saw your thread and thought I would add these pictures for you. I hope they are better!

I just got back and saw this thread. I am the seller of the watch and I just sent the pictures to rhack1. I just talked to my father-in-law to see if he remembered this watch. He thought he got it new from Joshua sometime in 2005 but he definitely bought it from one of the forum dealers. Yes freddy is correct about the size of the watch here is a side by side comparison with a real vintage chronograph I found in his collection.

Rob, Well I tried depressing the release and slowly turning. Nothing!!! The release still appears to be stuck in the down position. Only on certain occasions would the stem engage and allow me to wind. I can feel the gears slipping while I turn it. I tried to take a picture of the release butttom but I am no better at photograpy than I am at watch repair. If I get a chance this weekend I will try again. Looks like I will be sending this off to you as well. Thanks Rod

I did the same thing with my Tag chrono with 7750. I did release it in the winding position. When I went to reinstall the stem I DID NOT press the release buttom. I can't wind, change time or date. It appears the release button is stuck in the down position. Is it a matter of just pressing down the release while inserting the stem to fix this? Or does it need to be repaired by removing the dial and fixing it from the other side? Thanks

I had the same problem. I got this same watch for my girlfriend last year. I tried in vain to source some links for it but to no avail!! I ended up giving it to my daughter. Apparently she has asian size wrists.

Hi all, As the topic states I need some tips on re-installing the chrono hands on my Tag. I was switching out the dials on my Tag from black to white face. Disassembly was no problem as I have most the tools to do this. But after more than a few hours of frustrating work I have yet to get one of those little BASTARD hands on!!! I have done some searching and I haven't really found any answers. Most are like your typical manuals.....take hands off ...remove dial...reinstall hands....just that easy!!! Well its not! I would appreciate any help! From anyone who can share in my frustration and have found an answer. Thanks Rod

Hey Indyclmbr....great weather huh!! Yea in my last email to him that is what I told him I would do. I figured I would wait through the weekend and hope for the best!! Amk000 I don't think I will be that patient! Makiel Yea the guy from TRC deserves the anger! We'll wait and see if anything happens with the other guy. I really believe it will get resolved with out much further action. It justs frustrating!!!!

Ken I wasn't on when he was I looked at his profile to see when his last visit was. Woody I hope this is the case but wouldn't you think he would at least let me know what was up. As to dealing with him again I didn't realize it was the the same guy as his screen name is similar to another members. The watch, if described correctly,is one that isn't available anymore.

I recently sent payment for a watch from a fellow member on tuesday morning. I was getting good and timely responses during the transaction. As soon as I sent payment.....nothing. No confirmamtion of payment. No explaination of delays..... NOTHING. He was suppose to let me know the tracking # when he sent the watch and of course (are you following the pattern) NOTHING!!!! I have checked and he has been on the forum everyday and I have sent very civil emails wanting to know what is going on....and NOTHING!!!! We are both in the US and I definetly should have the watch or some expaination by now. He is a VIP member and has sold a few watches on all the boards. I did some checking, after the fact, and he has had some negative feedback on past deals. I don't know if I was stupid or what because I had a problem with him before. I had a couple of DRSD for sale on TRC back in December, trying to raise some christmas $$$'s, and he comitted to buy one of them. Well I took him for his word and considered it sold and sent him my PP info. What did I hear from him.........yes you are right........ NOTHING!!!! To make matters worse the member that did buy it filed an immediate complaint with PP for non receipt. My fault, I had my office mail it for me and they sent it regular mail with no confirmation. I had nothing to dispute his dispute! Ironically enough it was in the same state as the first guy. He was making excuses immediately about how packages were missing from his complex but assured me that as soon as the package arrives he will drop the dispute. Well the dispute is over I am out the watch and $$$'s. This guy was a newbie and was contributing to the boards. Well, after this happened he has been a regular visitor but doesn't post anymore. Imagine that!! I was reluctant to bring this to the board as I give everybody the benefit of the doubt. But I believe I have been patient enough!! Thanks for letting me vent. Rod
