I would say "YES". The condition of this is really NOS. It looks like it just came from the AD. Somebody took really good care of this.

That is very, very nice! I love the vintage pieces with all their character. Wear it well.

Nice build!
And apologies in advance for the semi-threadjack, but if you ever decide to part with that blue no-date please let me know. Droool.
Thanks mr_slippery! LOL, I'll add you to the list for the no-date. You'll get a PM if I ever decide to part with it.

looks great,,,,can you fade and vintage the insert so you can't tell as much it was trimmed?
Good idea! I've read about how to do this, but I haven't tried one yet...

Looks very nice! It's a shame that the insert had to be trimmed to fit over the crystal however the end result is still a beautiful watch
Thanks B3n. Yeah, I tried to be as careful as I could, but hopefully I'll get better with practice.

Your BPFF is very nice, definitely on my wish list. If you ever decide to part with it let me know.

I've been busy with work for a while, but I just finished my second project, a blue Snowflake Date. The case is from a 1680 rep, the movement is a clone 2824, and the dial and hands came from the bay. Its not perfect, but I don't think it turned out too bad.
...and the family, 79090, blue SF date, and blue SF no date... -
Great job! I think if you could find a gold bezel and a two-tone bracelet it would really pop!
I took your advice, jmb! I picked up a TT day-date and it came in today. I picked up the leather strap on the bay. I think it turned out great! Not the best pictures though. I'll take better ones next week when I get home.

I bought one from Perrin Watch Parts. Great customer service and quick responses to emails. First one they sent had a broken stem and was not working. They apologized for the issue and put a new one in the mail the next day. I also ordered a 2812 and 2813 in the same order. All are working great. Hope this helps in your search.
