Ok, I have really been trying to upgrade my membership with no success. Apparently Paypal will not accept payments or it may be just me. Anyway, I want to unload an essentially new / mint PAM0008 Ferrari Chrono (black dial / leather strap) if anyone is interested. Priced to sell at $250 plus shipping / paypal costs. PM me. And I admit I am forum challenged so any advice on the membership upgrade so I can post this in the sales forum would be appreciated. AJ

I think they make a version without the obsevation back which would be better for the Replica as the movement is quite different. It is a dead giveaway assuming someone looks. I think the crown sticks out a little further than on the original but that is a close call. Nonetheless I have the replica and am quite happy with it.

Does anyone know if the rubber strap (Ferrari) via the group buy still available?

Has anyone heard from Sash recently. My chrono had a pusher that would not screw down (the top pusher button just falls out if you unscrew the outer sleeve) and I returned it to him. China EMS has made to attempts to deliver with no luck and he is not responding to my emails and his box is full. I hate to lose the watch and my money!

Thanks for all the help. I decided to go with the 177 after going to a local AD and checking out the 111, 005, 000, and 177. I will post pics when it arrives. Now I need to figure out what to do with my Eddie Lee 1950 and 111h which have been relumed, canon fixed and serviced by The Zigmeister a couple of months ago.

Thanks for the information. It's amazing how much better informed this group is over history and details than the AD. Someone also offered me a 111G. I think it has a limited production of 2000 units and the painted dial and the decorated movement - again - I think (I do not have any reference books). Any thoughts?

Ok. I love Panerai so much that after getting a couple of replicas (111h and fiddy) I decided to find a gen. I am wondering what the consensus is on the 111h vs a 177 titanium. As this group is so well informed on Pans I was wondering what people thought. TIA

I went with the yellow dial. I saw it in person and really liked it.

Got a new EMS tracking number from Sash for the replacement watch. This one is already in the tacking system which I hope is a good sign.

I have a similar problem with my FER00008 but it happened a day after I got the watch so I am trading it for another (via the dealer). I would contact the dealer and send pictures.

It would be nice if we keep this thread updated with info on when the watches start to arrive just so the thread does not die. It may also help us stay clued in on what is going on. I am waiting to hear back from Sash on the GP replacement watch. I had a separate order from Sash for the yellow dial (before the GP) and that arrived without a delay but the watch has a problem so I need to resolve that as well.

It is definitely hit and miss regardless of the dealer - I have purchased from several. The issue appears to be getting a respectable dealer who will work with you when there is a problem. Because there is really little protection for us otherwise.

I am happy to report that I got the watch today! It came with a rubber strap rather than the leather strap (as the prior one) but I guess that is okay. Andrew

Hi Sash, No watch as of today's mail delivery so that is 2 weeks for me. I opt for option 2 with the Yellow Dial and extra rubber strap. Andrew

Not Funny! Anyway, as a positive note - I think Sash's handling of the situation is first class. As far as I am concerned there is no reputation fall out (assuming watches arrive) and I appreciate his efforts in making the GP.

I am not getting any response to emails or PMs to Eddie Lee regarding a scratched Panerai Ferrari Chrono that I had to return to him for a replacement because it arrived that way. Now I am a little PO'd as don't even have the damaged one. Anyone have any leads for another email address to reach him? I would expect him to at least get back to me as he has been good on past purchases. Plz PM with any info.

Anyone receive their watch yet. Mine shipped last week to the U.S. and it appears lost. Sash said he is concerned as several are not trackable via the EMS China site. Now I am concerned as this is one of two for me.
