Bump!
How is this project going?
Funny you should post that today!
UPDATE
Ok, here we go. I had a change of heart about the colour/leather. I ended up getting a nice olive green hide that I thought was a nicer feel and look. So I went with it, im now in a position to take orders for this strap, limited to 13 straps and only available to RWG members.
The leather is extra soft and supple, I wanted the strap to be comfortable as well as look good and I hope I have achieved both. The colour started as an olive green, however I burnished it slightly to darklen the colour a little. The result is a dark olive green/oak brown that I think looks great.
The strap has been finished with Carnuaba cream, this gives a nice matte finish and will increase the lifespan of the leather.
Stitch colour is natural.
All 12 straps will be 24mm and your choice of 125/75, 130/80 or 135/85.
One sewn in and one floating keeper.
5mm thick
All straps stamped RWG on the rear and numbered 1-13.
Comes in a presentation tin as shown in the pics.
Optional Brushed or Polished Pre V buckle available.
The price is £39 per strap which includes a £3 donation to RWG and postage worldwide. Buckles priced at £6 each with a £1 donation to RWG.
The straps are all semi complete, so delivery will be 7-10 days from date of order.
Please PM me to order and I will add your name to the list which will be posted in this thread.
Strap number 1 is mine and is currently on my 243.
I hope that the initial interest shown is still strong, as im down a fair bit at the moment! Without further ado here are some pics:

I had the Kemmner version for a while, nice watch for the money. Case set was really well made.

I can sympathize. It's a real pain sometimes. I was actually on the opposite end recently. I PMd "I"ll take it" but needed several days to get funds into my Paypal. I kept in touch with the seller, though and he agreed from the start to hold it for me. Not for a minute did I ever think of bailing on him! All we have here is our word and reputation.
Yep, I would be happy to do that for someone I had dealt with before or who has good feedback, most of the people I have dealt with on here have been great and touch wood I have had no issues selling or buying.

Noob question but should the chrono hand and secs@6 be running in sync?
Only if you start the chrono at the exact same time the second hand hits 12 on the subdial. Then in theory the will both run at the same time. If you start the chrono hand at any point when the second hand is not at 12 it will be different.
Why would you want them in sync?

For £1900 I would fly to Austraila and hand deliver it. Deal, asap!

Looking good there mate, haven't got an AP myself yet but have one in mind to get soon
Yep, they have some real wrist presence. My boss just commented on it, which he has never done with any of my watches!

Im just looking at ordering a Gen He valve from Cousins for my franken UPO, can someone tell me if this is a direct fit? Is it just a case of removing the old valve (via the internal screw) and the inserting the Gen and tightening up said screw or is there more to it?
Thanks!

*ahum* Hublot section
Please don't change the layout to much, this is perfect! If I compare RWG to RWI, RWI is very messy so much links to click on. That's also the reason why I hang here.
About the name, that's a tricky one. If i know something, I'll let you know
I agree, one of the reasons I stuck here when I found the rep game was the easy to navigate and well marked section etc. Compared to RWI which I think is awful to navigate, this place is perfect.
I would love a Tudor section too and maybe a Franken section where details of franken builds can be kept together.

I know the trouble you have had with this one mate, all I can say is it was ALL worth it in the end! Absolutely stunning.![B)](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_cool.png)
