  1. His pics show that the dial does not sparkle as much as previously thought. It looks very close to Gen. The pics on Hopno must have had quite a bit of flash. Eddie's pics look great. I cant wait to get my watch. It should be here tomorrow.
  2. There is way too much space between the end links and the case. My 192 with titanium bracelet has almost no gap.
  3. Does anyone have the Omega deployant clasp being sold with the genuine croc strap at silix? It looks real nice and would be a nice addition to my gen AT.
  4. Is the Gen strap Croc or Alligator? Does anyone know of a good place to pick one up? Or does anyone know the OEM price?
  5. It looks like the black panda dials have the concentric circles, the silver one does not.
  6. What do you guys think of the modified 7750 in this watch? The only dial that is modified is the seconds dial. The min subdial is in the correct position. The new 7750 should be able to handle the added stress of only the sub seconds. What do you all think.
  7. I bought one from eddie. The panda dial gen is not available all over the world. I think it is only available in Europe and Asia. I also think the sparkly dial is due to the way those pictures were taken.
  8. I have been studying the watch and so far I think the following are incorrect: The dial is too silver, the Panda should have a white dial The case back should be brushed The tachymeter/bezel part should not be flush with the dial(this may just be the picture) The minute circles should be holes in the dial I think. I am not sure whether that is the case with the rep.
  9. Holy Moly, the gods have spoken. I have been waiting for this watch for ages. It is absolutely beautiful. I cant see much wrong with it. here is the panda: http://www.redfingerprint.com/watches_deta...ograph/IW371411
  10. I was downtown today and thought I would stop by Canal st and check out some of the reps. I went twice in the day, the second time there were lower quality reps around. I went at 2pm and at about 6pm. I saw a silver/black FA Jones with decorated see through back. The store owner offered it for 120$, but I am sure you could bargain it down to below $100. I actually went back 3 hours later to try and haggle but the shop had closed. I think this watch was the same as what our dealers are offering. I wound the movement and if wound nicely. It was not a screw down crown. The notable reps I saw were a Poljot 1950, 7750 PO reps, Swiss ETA Black Seal w/wrong bridges, a 192, and a 196 w/asian 7750 movement. The black seal was a great solid watch that felt very good and the movement was nice and polished. I also really liked the 196, I was playing with the chrono and it worked great. The 192's case and band seemed to be of much lower quality than my EL 192. He said he had a bunch of Rolex reps, but I didnt look. I dont really like Rolex other than the Daytona PN. The shop owner with the best reps was near Pearl Paint if anyone is interested.
  11. Trusty has them for sale and the only issue I see with them is that they are 46mm not 47mm. Otherwise the watch looks pretty good.
  12. can you guys post pics of the watch? I would like to know how polished the movement is. The rep looks dull while the gen is nice and shiny/reflective.
  13. Are the subdials recessed like the gen? I have been looking at new pics of Andrews Blue Navitimer and the date does not seem to be as recessed as some of the older ones. I like the 6-9-12 version but am in love with the 3-6-9 and would prefer that one. I know that there is another set of gears in the 3-6-9 layout. What do you think of the 7750 in this watch. It doesnt seem to be as heavily burdened as the Daytona so I figured it would work better. You would only stress the movement if you used the chrono since the minute dial is the one that is moved from the 12 position to the 3 position. Does your 7750 keep good time?
