Stop crying, open your wallet and buy a genuine 7750 then you tight bastid!
-
Not long now!
-
All of the cases are solid s/s, but the grade is better on the "prime" items and the bands tend to be pretty poor (bad engraving and bad end links) on the asia ones.
-
I've got white on black for a 7750.. And I've got a gold on white for a china "faux" chrono..

TW Sub on Nato again today.. Havent worn it in a year or so.. been on the wrist since saturday now

Its done using a satinizer wheel like this:
Once fitted to a bench polisher you can get really even satinization (is that even a word? lol!).. I use it all the time to re-finish rolex bands and case-tops.
Most jewellers with a workshop will have one and will be more than happy to satinize your band.

I had this with one of my recent purchases from a dealer in the UK. The tracking updated once to say that "item was handed over for shipping to Canada" and it still says that even though it was delivered about a week ago.
Let me guess, Parcelforce?? I've got things I've sold on ebay months ago that are still marked as "Out for delivery" and "On-route to hub"...

The more I look at the latest versions of the PO, the more I'm starting want one

I found a dial for my TW, so I slapped on the nato strap
-
Does anyone know if any dealers can source a dial for a TW sub? The dial is smaller then the CN items and the date window is in the same position as a gen..
My TWB sub has spat out its dummy and dropped an hour marker and the others are looking a bit ropey too.. I did source a replacement dial in the past from River when I managed to nick the dial with my hand remover but am I right in saying River isnt around any more?
Cheers!

I can recommend an independant watch maker called Wellingtons in Wokingham, Berkshire if your in that neck of the woods. Their number is 0118 978 2162 .

Twyford Station is pretty close...

I can see anything that would allow you to unscrew it so yes it looks like a case knife would be the right tool

I think your asking for the moon on a stick!
Sometimes you get lucky, but other times not so lucky with parts "compatibility" between replicas.

Man,this one looks also gen to me!Come on tell us the truth...
Its an early model (with lug holes) the bracelets were not polished back then

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but your "Alpha" shot shows really bad HOLLOW SEL's.. where as your shots of a real no-date have proper hollow end links.

I was told by a watch maker I know that ETA sometimes have "backdoor" stock, basically QC cast offs that have the ETA model and logo machined off and are then sold "out the back door" .. Could be an explination for what looks like a damn good copy! Seems strange to copy the 28xx model as its rather cheap.
