Movement and dial for 895$ seems to be pretty expensive.

If I'm right, doni01 sells the movement for 550$ and the dial isn't more than 200$.

The rubber strap is great! But may ve too short if you have bigger wrists.

I think it's on par with gen rubber!

As for restoring: use some autosol polishing paste and a dremel. I have a felt-wheel for it.

If needed, some after-polishing with cape-cod will bring that mirror shine finish back.

No need for getting replacement parts.

This is a well known issue on the Big Pilots.

Open the caseback, remove the stem and then just take a little pair of pliers and bend the crown tube very careful to make it A LITTLE oval.

Issue fixed and the crown will screw in tight again.

Easy fix!
