Still can't log in on tapatalk. It doesn't accept my Password.
But I'll be patient

Looks really good to me.
But I'm interested in the lume and price range
The strap is related to Zeugma?

I did that several times.
After posting and enjoying my pics I can't sell some watches anymore

A lot of interesting things here
But to make it short: it seems it doesn't make sense to post such a list.
We're all wasting time here and there.
And I will use the "block" option more often

How dare people ask questions about what they are thinking of buying?! the bastards!!!
Asking questions is legit!
But a simple "sorry I won't take it" after numerous PM's should be no problem.
And there are always the same guys.

We all know this situation. You post a watch for sale and some members send you a PM with lots of questions. After numerous messages they disappear.
Or they say: I'll take your watch for the asking price and disappear.
One member asks me while I've posted a Super Avenger a lot of questions. One of them was: is it the big 48mm version. Yes of course! His answer: sorry, it's way to big for me. No problem so far. BUT: he posted a WTB thread about a PAM187!!! WTF?!?
So should we post a list of user names who definately waste your time?

Don't stop at all!
Just stop with the hard drinks and get yourself a beer here and there.
I know what I'm talking about. I live in the Oktoberfest city

I'll bet you can find the correct screw somewhere on or in the movement. He probably put the small headed one somewhere else and didn't want to go back and change it.
No, the movement was missing some screws.
So I gave it to a watchmaker and he puts in the one I've posted.
-
I saw you read the info...having a difficult day with bad movements, my comments were excited, so I removed them.
Good luck with the repair, and get a new watchmaker, a good one.
I understand. If you're interested, I could tell you the whole story via PM.
And thanks for the links. But I try to avoid gen foras. Too much nose high there.

Why did you delete your last post?
You were sooo right!!!
But no one knows?
And thanks D. Will try it out

Hey there,
my wife´s gen GMT Master makes noise when winding. And I think I found what´s causing this.
It seems one of the movement screws is too big. At least the head sticks out too much. Everytime the rotor touches this screw, it makes noise and sometimes the rotor stops. Please see the pics below. Especially the last one. There you can see the thickness of the screw-head.
Does anybody knows where to get a replacement? Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advance

Get a Triumph Speed Triple!
Never drove a better bike besides my Husqvarna Super Moto!

Hi there, this is not the actual CG. Yours has already installed a polished toro CG.
Will post a pic and send you a PM once I'm back home.
I am sure I can help you

I've had just positive transactions with Andy and I am pretty sure he won't risk his reputation for a few Euros.
Maybe there are different versions of the movement out there?
Maybe Andy got scammed himself while ordering that movement?
This will get sorted, but I think Andy doesn't do anything wrong.
At least I hope so.
Sorry, I don't know anything about Tag. But I know the way Andy works.

I've had a gen 1675 from 1960. I could send you pics for reference if you want. Just send me a PM

Just file down the lever tip. It's the same on the toro CGs.
But be careful....file a bit, try it....file a bit, try it....and so on

I've been waiting for sooo long to see this watch nicely repped. And here it is....but why did they make that crownguard wrong???

Yes, they were. I´ve had a 1675 from 1960 and the bezel was free in both ways.
-
To me they look amazing!!
Plus you can have it in the length you want.
I have a JV style strap made by Mario and love it!!

Me and my family are driving a Volvo V70. A lot of room for carrying what the kids collect. (stones, branches, dead animals...)
And the wifey did a crash test and the Volvo passed

Meaning of some abbreviations like fiddy and Franken
in The Panerai Area
Posted
Franken: rep watch with gen parts. Short for Frankenstein
Fiddy: PAM127. There is 1950 printed on the dial. And fifty = fiddy.
CG: exactly, stands for crownguard
