  1. Well...first...the TD of your choice is one of the best when it comes to customer satisfaction A YG rep is always something one should really think about. Due to the high price of the material (of the gen) and its bling factor they're pretty often called out as a rep. And...as far as I know they're not meant to be a daily beater since the gold wrap vanishes pretty fast when wearing it. Last...the biggest and easiest tell is the ICHS movement. 2. Just google for TC blog and you'll find it. I don't think one should go for the Swiss ETA offered from the TDs. They're most likely build out of old, crappy Swiss ETAs with Chinese parts. The A2836 would be the better choice since they are new Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware
  3. I doubt that even high end watch fanatics are able to call one out wearing a TC sub. The possibility to be plain wrong is way to high...there were so many changes on the gen sub and there are so many gen sub owner who modify their watches...at which point, unless one opens the cb, removes the bracelet or is trying to set the time, should they be clear to call out the rep? The biggest call out will ever be wearing a watch that you cannot afford as gen. Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware

Well...I just bought another TC LV with gen black insert and this one here is getting a WM9 LV insert...pics soon to come The TC subs are just great...I always thought it's just a hype but it isn't. If one don't own one yet, go and get one!! They're worth every penny and more  Sent from my wooden drums using Tupperware

  8. I truly can understand your dilemma Pete...I had been at the same point and from my experience I have to say there is no other way than try, try, try... I started with my search for "the watches I can wear" in 2007 and after I tried hundreds of watches over the years it seems like I finally found "my style"...at least...I can say that the style hasn't changed in the past month and since some weeks I hadn't any change in colour. This could likely mean I reached the end of my "hunt" (I really hope I did!!!). The best advice I can give is...don't stick with the same design too early...try something different and try watches you think you don't like...as you already know...the "look" changes once it's on the wrist
