On the Mark XVII, I cannot find anything on this but a few TDs claim that the non "V2" version is the best (its the one priced at 338/328). Maybe its just an out of date thing? PT: Made by the most recent correct Mark XVI maker, the best version at the moment. Unfortunately Toro's site is down which is where I mainly got this info. Has anyone made a good comparison? Why the price discrepancy?

I've been thinking about this one but am having fun doing some research on it before diving in. One of the things that was mentioned about this rep is the crown being too wide. From what I've seen, that doesn't seem to be the case on the "best" rep (which I could not find who makes it, all I see from the TD's is that it is made by the "best maker", and on PT this example is better than the other "1:1" model, this is one of the more confusing pieces to research). imgur.com/7ggRlc0.jpg Top is rep, bottom is gen. Its been hard to find non-rendered stock photos head-on for the gen but I think overall the rough measurement is pretty clear: right on two second notches from 3. The rep seems to nail it in that regard. Thoughts? (New member, will request link change)
