  1. Was sitting around having lunch at a fancy restaurants with my fancy restaurant buddies last week, 3 out of the 4 of us there are watch nuts .. though i'm the only one that collects reps, my two other buddies are happy with the gens.. so i handed the seawolf to my buddy who has a gen breitling and asked him what he though tof it.

finally he said, "glad you finally bought a gen." --

of course i told him it was a $400 rep of a $4000 gen .. -- he was impressed with the replica market.

lunch was pretty good too ..

Haha! Just goes to show the quality of these super-reps. They can occasionally fool even watch nuts who also happen to be gen Brietling owners. I think with modern technology and the increasing demands on quality from customers like us, the gap between gens and reps is slowly decreasing and decreasing. There will come a point where the exterior of the watch in nigh-on indistinguishable from the gen to the naked eye.

  2. Another nice watch there. How many did you get at one time?!

Love the mesh bracelet, it gives the watch an elegant look. Surprised that the crown isn't a screw-down however I don't know enough about the Transocean to provide a definitive answer.

Regardless, it looks gorgeous. You'll certainly get many an admiring glance at it.

  3. I agree with ceejay and SSteel. The chrono seconds hand is so close to being spot-on that I doubt anyone would ever notice it in person. This looks like a very nice rep and if it was my money I would give it the green light. After all, if you ask for another watch it's flaws could be more pronounced and you could be forever trying to find the perfect rep (which I doubt exists, at least for now).

And you can always get them fixed at a later date if they really bother you.

  4. How can I fix the bracelet? If you notice on wrist shot, first link from SEL doesn't sit flush. It kind is sticks up.

    Is there a fix?

Weirdly, I have pretty much the same issue with my UPO. I assumed there was no fix to this unless I was to get a gen bracelet, which is pricey!

  5. I was looking at the He valve and thinking it's placement is a little low when comparing it with mine however I then realised that this is a new 37.5mm model which like you mentioned, is completely new to me as well. If this is indeed real then this new size could explain why the movement looks different from normal (normal being what the gen pics show for the 42 & 45mm versions). I agree with fraggle that if this is a fake then they've done a damn fine job.
