  1. Yeah well - I like the creme/brown better also :-P... You could argue that a zebra is somewhat safari-oriented hehe....?
  2. Yeah maybe you are right. But I am not 100% sure. AP has a tendency to change color schemes like people change socks from year to year . I think I'll try and call my local AP dealer and get it cleared up...
  3. YES - but my point is that it's not creme and brown, it's black and white like the released version. It's very obvious on the high-res image on the link I posted, that it's the same color as the one for sale as a rep. I think the creme/brown safari could be a previous years version?
  4. OR Black on White http://www.kronosclub.com/ROC/mainX.asp?mnuNum=26020 There's even a high-res image...
  5. And here, nr. 3 in the column: http://www.kronosclub.com/ROC/mainX.asp?mnuNum=26020
  6. Yeah that's one version, but there's also a version in pure white and black numerals. I think you can see a picture of it on Luxury bazaar. http://www.luxurybazaar.com/timepieces/web..._D091CR_01.html Cheers!
  7. Aren't there both a version of the Safari in this color combo as well as the creme dialed one? Or aren't you referring to the dial color?
  8. ....and according to the same source, it will be fixed properly in the next batch from the factory...
  9. According to sources, it's just a black marker pen job. Sounds kind of uncool on something that's supposed to look like a 25.000 dollar watch?
  10. Definitely black with orange stripe. Makes the orange stand out as a feature rather than an eye-turd
  11. Aaaaaah that watch is so MASSIVE. I really find some of the design choices intriguing. I'm definitely getting the white dial version. It states 42mm, but it looks like a "big 42mm". What can you compare it to in size?
  12. I get the same result from both the links.
  13. Pretty big OOOPS to air it at all then :-P
  14. Of course the Breitling is not a Chrono :-)
  15. If you want a large diver type watch there are several good examples such as: Breitling Superocean Heritage Panerai PAM 187 Graham Diver Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore And many others :-)
  16. Hmmmm, it seems to me to link to the exact same silver date dialed version that was started with?
  17. It's not supposed to be a safari. It's a ref: 25721ST.OO.1000ST.07. I went to my local AP dealer and looked at the gen. And apart from the apparent date flaws etc. it was REALLY close. I didn't do a compare there, but from memory it was hard to see much difference - both in overall look, feel and weight and in detail.
  18. Very nice review. I have a few issues with my clasp, but it rarely pops open, so it doesn't bother me greatly. I have the white dial version with white rubber strap. Looks REALLY stunning!
  19. Cool straps! Does he have a website?
  20. Thank you - I'll try that out! Just a strap from Zack
  21. Greetings guys, I just got my Superocean Heritage, and I'm contemplating putting a 12 strap on it. But I can't see the springbars. How do I access them so I can take off the strap? Thanks guys
