I think it all depends on the movements. For example the Asian 7750's which are appearing in more and more reps have a high service charge and I could never justify paying
I actually made a Panerai widget just by utilising the current Vista clock widget. I wiped Vista about a week ago to go back to single boot OS X though. I'll probably reinstall over the weekend and knock another one up, I think I've still got the psd lying around.
First of all fantastic photography. Can I ask what equipment you used?
Secondly, fantastic watch I'm a big fan of Breitling but the Steelfish isn't one I considered, and I've definitely not considered a white face but that looks stunning on the brown strap. I think I'm gonna pick up that particular model from Andrew along with a blue strap in case I fancy a change.
I've not really got an opinion either way, I've only been browsing the forums a couple of weeks and I don't even own a rep, I'm just responding to that particular statement. I'd love to pick this up, but all the negative talk has me hesitant to throw away
This is one thing I agree on wholeheartedly. The very fact that you're paying hundreds of dollars for a replica is irrelevant. You're paying hundreds of dollars for a watch and because of that I'd expect it to last.
It's a real shame because two reps I really want are a Breitling Navitimer and a Tag Carrera which both use an Asian 7750 movement.
