  1. The Noob V3 is the best 111 so buy it and close the thread as theres nothing left to say :)

Your confidence has me convinced, I will do the Noob n V3. Thank you!

I own four h factory watches and four kuvarsit and a dozen noobs......all Pam's. With H factory Pam's I am always disappointed.....if everything is perfect you still have the rounded inner corners of their CG's to contend with. If there is a choice always pick noob.

Thank you for the information. Good to hear it from someone who has both. H and Noob. I will go with Noob! I guess the pics had me fooled.

  2. So, When I first started here, like everyone else, I was on a mission for the best Sub haha. I ended up getting the TC Sub v6 and I am super happy.

Now, I am researching the best PAM and I am hearing it is Marlin's Mods on the Noob N V3. That is great, and that is what I am learning toward doing...But which is Reallllllyy better, The Noob N v3? or the H Factory Best sold by Andew  http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=9396&zenid=1ee303b4375d886541dab3854ce523b9  .  What are your thoughts? From pictures I have looked at both the Noob and the H factory best at that link and can not for certain say who is better. It seems the L Swiss Made L may be more proper on the H factory best?

What do you all think? Which is the best PAM 111 ? The Noob N V3 or the H Factory best at the link above. Which is most Gen?

  3. Yes the 1675 and it's predecessor the 6542 both had the same handstack, from the bottom, GMT, hour, minute, seconds. That's why you can use and ETA 2846 or 2836, 2893-2 or a DG 3804 to build the 1675 and have the correct hand stack. Only difference is all of these ETA movements have and adjustable GMT hand, the 6542 and the 1675 have non adjustable tracking GMT hands, so you have to turn the bezel to get the 2nd Time zone. You can remove the adjustment mechanism (freeze the GMT hand) on these movements to make them look and perform exactly like the old 1675.

awesome. this is extremely helpful. I am now in search of a 1675 instead of the 16710. I just need to find it! Thanks again

  4. That one is the ICHS, but more reliable. Why not build or buy a 1675? It's hand stack is the same. Both the gen Rolex movement and the ETA use the same hand stack.

The 16750, like mine above and the 16710 use different movements with a different hand stack.

So you are saying that the Gen 1675 has the GMT hand at the bottom like the rep? If so, would you recommend this as a good buy? http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=8348 Thanks again for your help

Actually scratch that, looks like the crownguards are too stubby

  5. Nice watch and welcome to the forums!

The comparison between the 16610 and 116610 shouldn't be to make comparisons rather the contrasts. They are different in most every way except for the base movement. The bezel rotates using a different mechanism hence the different feel and sound. The weight on the 16610 is lighter due to the hollow bracelet and the stamped sheet metal clasp. The TC is pretty spot on afaik, minor tells that would take an expert to spot (like most of the guys on the forums). Both reps are gen style construction true to their gen model counterpart.

Congrats and wear in good health!

Thanks for the input jpz5142. So the light hollow band and the stamped sheet metal clasp is true to gen?

  6. Hello All,

Today I returned home to find the TC Submariner V6 Arrived. I am pretty noob here but I am diving pretty deep into the submariner, pun intended. You all can see some pictures attached below. I will be sure to post more picture if you want to see a certain aspect.

Since I am so new, I will let you all be the judge. Please critic flaws you see. I took some pictures of the TC V6 next to my BP Ceramic Sub.

My initial impressions are as follows: The watch is beautiful. I think I like the old Sub model much more than the bulkier ceramic model. I also prefer the smaller hour markers.

Some worries are as follows: The bezel doesn't make the same loud clicking sound, although it does click, just a duller tone. Also, the watch feels pretty light..idk if this is because I am used to the ceramic model which is more bulky. Also, and probably my biggest concern, and I would be curious to know if this is just normal for the older sub models is this: The bracelet feels very light and the clasp feels a little cheap when comparing to the BP Ceramic version.

All in all, beautiful watch and I have to say TC gave awesome customer service and he sent the watch in rapid time.  More details to follow. Please let me know what you, the experts think...
