Thanks, this was a great resource. I gather than whether it is luminova or super luminova it needs a charge and will ultimately fade less and less without a charge.

Hey All, I just bought a BP Submariner and received it today! Awesome watch! great feel and look. Anyway, I notice it doesnt relly glow in the dark unless it is charged. I was under the impression that superluminova doesnt need any charging or prompting. Can anyone explain the difference between superluminova from other lume and what the lume is like on the gen?

Before I found this fantastic forum ( which was just recently), I made a purchase on swss.cc. This was my experience:
1. Promised the best watch 1:1 swiss replica Rolex Submariner with 3135 31 jewel movement that had no tells
2. Promised watch was in stock and ready to ship
3. Promised 72 hour shipping
4. I paid for TNT Shipping
5. Told the watch went through quality control and that I would be very very happy
6. . . . 3 days go by
7. I email...Has my package shipped?
8. No response....3 days go by
9. I send 10 e-mails and post on their site to finally get a response where they claimed the " perfect bracelet " had not arrived from their supplier and that they would have it in 3 days and ready to ship.
10. 5 more days go by...still no word..still no shipment. I send 10 more e-mails
11. They tell me " perfect bracelet" has not arrived, would arrive in 3 days and would be ready to ship
12. the SAME above response continues about 6 more times.
13. After hearing no further response and a couple more days going by, I bombard their box with e-mails until i hear back
14. 29 days have gone by and I ask for a full refund
15. they tell me " I will refund tomorrow"
16. No refund happens " Tomorrow ", or "Tomorrow" or "Tomorrow" or any other "Tomorrow " for many days to come.
17. Over a week passes
18. After 36 Days pass I contact Paypal and tell them. Paypal tells me I am lucky I contacted them within 45 days.
19. Paypal forces the refund.
20. Thank you paypal. F&^% you Swss.cc.

I just ordered mine from Andrew...I am noticing however there is big spacing between Oyster - Perpetual - Date. Is this the correct spacing given the year this rep is modeled after? Or is this a flaw??

Awesome, What exactly are the differences between the V2 bracelet and the BP bracelet? I keep reading this but dont see much about why. I have read that the BP may come with looser links. Andrew seems to think the BP bracelet is the best...any thoughts?

The spacing between "Oyster Perpetual Date" is too wide. That's one thing I know for sure. I have been thinking about getting this GMT version so I am in the process of reading as much as I can on it. I also think the crown guard is a bit off. If you look at a side shot of the gen vs the rep you can see that the top edge of the CG curves over the crown more than the gen.
I am also worried about the bezel. It is all blue and the black is painted over it. if you happen to scratch the black the blue will more than likely show through.

payhomage: It seems that we are on the same mission. I have been searching for this sub and have been looking between Trusty and Puretime...I was leaning toward Puretime because the pictures and descriptions are much more comprehensive... Did you ever determine whether these are the same watches???
When I contacted Puretime I was told they are out of stock for a few months....Trying to decide whether to purchase this from Trusty...

I think the vintage daytona is a beautiful piece...however, that being said...the biggest flaws on your rep are as follows: The "ROLEX" and type below it, are wayyyyyyyy too big. The subdial needles are wayy too thick also. I have seen the correct dial on certain rep sites. for some reason, most rep sites sell both the correct dial and incorrect dial...

Hello All,
I bought the BP Sub a couple weeks ago. I am super happy with it, beautiful watch. Until recently, all good, all of a sudden however, the bracelet started squeaking pretty badly. Whenever I shake my wrist or move it, it squeaks. It is annoying but above all gives a pretty cheap impression. My questions are. 1. Is this normal? 2. Has anyone else experienced this? 3. How can I fix it? ......I tried applying baby oil on the link I believe was making the squeaking but I don't hear any improvement.
