  1. Remember:

    "Where People Gather, Life Happens"

Future Post from a yet to be named member~

    [Read in a whinny cry]

"Howwww come you moved my Rolex Thread out of GD? PT's BB Thread got to stay in there. What, I'm not a Dealer or a VIP, so I don't get special treatment"...

    I know, sarcasm's not neccessary...

As far as finding a moved topic goes...

A simple 5 second search in your personal profile under options - find members topics would reveal it's location.

Not sure why it would take "10 minutes"...

    TT

I got no notification of the move of topic so I believed it was still in general discussion and I read from page to page for 2 times because I thought I missed it for the first time.

Last time this thread was moved to my dealer section so I went to see my dealer section and I could not find it.

Finally I searched for "Big Bang" and got it, the 10 minutes practise only happens for the first time.

I just want as many forum members as possible to read this and to paticipate in perfectising this watch, I beleive if I had started this thread in "Other Brands Area", most of the forum members would not have kown this.

No problem to keep it at where it is now, just worried some of you here may forget this thread after it is moved.

  2. I know the moderator here re-classified the threads and put them back to the sub-forums they belong to.

But I found there are not many people know this thread has been moved and even the poster (me) has to search for 10 minutes to know where it is.

I created and follow this thread tight because I need everyone here to help me to perfetise this watch and I have to gain some information ASAP.

If this thread cannot be moved back to the General Discussion, I will tell the Admin to move it to my dealer section and I will pin it on top.

    Any ideas?

  3. Am I the only one that thinks this is a good idea? Any comments from the dealers?

There will be no problem for the extra links in most cases when you purchase from PureTime, I usually keep some extra bracelets for spare so if you need extra links (usually 1 or 2 links) and I will just remove from the spare bracelet and enclose it with the package.

  4. Making the HBB in full ceramic will be a great difficulty, we will first try to PVD it and see how good it looks, if it looks good then we will make it in PVD. If it does not look good, we may just neglect this model. But we will keep looking for any possibilities of implementing it with full ceramic.

Btw, I need one detailed caseback pic showing full engravings of the rose gold ceramic HBB (I need the 44.5mm HBB but not the 41mm version), please either post the pic here or send to my e-mail puretime2005@gmail.com, thank you for your help.

  5. i was just looking at the various versions of the chrono evolution on the breitling website, and noticed that for the stick markers version of the white dial, the description says it is actually a mother of pearl dial, with silver subdials. is the white dial stick markers version available with a white dial that isn't made of mother of pearl? :g:

    Yes, this one.

Angus, this is a fantastic course you are setting,... an actual first,... I just want you to know that

    I see, and appreciate ! :1a:

    Thank you ^_^

Top attitude, impressive to pay so much attention on accuracy

by the way does anybody knows the weight of the angus' BCE with leather and/or SS strap ?

i asked him yesterday but no reply yet.

    Thanks

    Xel B)

I am sorry I have not read your mail yet, I did not measure the weight of this watch but it will be 99% same as the original, what are you worrying about?

  6. Dear All,

Due to the recent defects found on the new generation of BCE, the release date has been prosponed to maybe 4-5 days.

    What we are now correcting:

12 o' clock sub-dial -- there should be 4 shorter lines between 2 longer lines

The Breitling logo should sit properly above "T"

    Perfetising the ss bracelet

These flaws were pointed out by YOU, thank you all!! Thank you for helping me to make a perfect rep.

The pre-order period has also been prosponed to 15th Jan, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

People who have paid and would like to have a refund due to the prospone please e-mail me, thank you.

    Cheers,

    Angus

  7. shame on you Angus, you should enjoy your birthday rather than posting here today :bicycle::victory:

I like enjoying my birthday with my friends (all of you here  ).

It is now 06:20 here but I am still with you, gonna to take some rest and go to the watch market (today I have to get some info on the BCE, AP ROO and let the watch maker to see the gen pics of the PAM252 to make this watch perfect), I may have a birthday cake for dinner, not bad for me.

  8. I am planning to paypal Angus tomorrow. But I am also a little upset because there are no current pics of the final product and the per-order ends on Jan. 10th which -I think so- is too soon. I am not owning a Big Bang but I am really hoping that the new EVO will be much better and not a disappointment. I am thinking about an extensive review, too. I am waiting for a new digicam with pretty good macro function (1 cm) and wide-angle lens and would be happy to share some detailed pics then. It will need further time but that's the plan :cc_detective:

I hope Angus' word is bond and he will fully refund us if the new pics are shown after the pre-order and we will not like the new EVO. But actually I think that watch will be a nice one :victory:

I will definately refund if you say the final product does not look good, and I am pleased all of you keep giving me suggestions and I can help the watch maker to perfectise this rep.

I will even ask the watch maker to delay this watch if it is imperfect.

When you received this watch, please remember you did take place in the production, it is a rep of ourselves!

  9. I am also having issues with preorder HBB rose gold version...I preorder with Angus at the inflated price before Josh/Andrew decided to low ball him by selling below retail.

I received it with many major problems...none cosmetic...my watch had a missing second hand on the subdial,

and a faulty minute hand...and when i say faulty i mean it was just flopping around like not on properly...

I contacted Angus and he immediately apologized and told me to send it back for a full refund...

During transit we were in good communication, but the watch was delivered to his watchsmith

Wang Do Ba and signed for on Jan. 4, at 9:53 AM. tracking no: EQ932729285US

Since then I have sent 3 emails to him and no response. So far I'm out $498...that is $478 for the watch $20 for shipping.

My last email informed him that if I got no response that I was opening up a dispute via Paypal.

Hopefully this prompts him to get back to me. I don't want to badmouth him at all and give him a chance

to make this right...but I wanted to put my situation out there.

Also I was told the first batch were faulty anyways...the maker of the watch has admitted that the chrono needles and

    such were no good.

    Any suggestions??

    Dear David,

I am really sorry I had a 2 days holiday for myself because today is my birthday and I could not reply to your mails immediately. I will proceed the refund tomorrow.

And for the shipping, we never signed any parcel on 4th, the tracking says it is signed because the Post Man put the note inside my mail box instead of giving the parcel to me, only one of our colleagues has the mailbox key so I can only know what is in the mail when my colleague go to the post office and take it back, I was not lying to you that I have not received.

Again I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused to anyone who got problems with your HBB, this HBB is really nice but the factory did not do a very good QC on them, from now on all HBB shipped from me will be inspected PERSONALLY by me.

I will also refund Thomasng for his HBB, anyone who is not satisfied with the HBB can ask for a replacement or refund.

Have a nice day and wish myself a happy birthday :1a:

    Cheers,

    Angus
