I notice in the comparison pics that the pearl on the gen is a bit more flush that the rep. the rep pearl has some height to it. anyone notice this too?

So did Francisco ever got the chance to review the A7753? I don't see it in his knowledge base...

Yeah...looking at the pics and comparing it with my ETA 7753 daylight, the lume on the new ones are too green. It should be a hint of green but that can be easily remedied by relume along with service of course. The improvement of the datewheel is huge because until now, there is no way around it unless you get the ETA 7753 version.

Does anyone know if the movement is truly a copy of the ETA 7753 and not a modified A7750 as in the PAM 288's?? I have not seen any review or breakdown on this...perhaps I missed it.

At first glance, it looked like a Tag. The dial design remind me of the older daytonas and Tags recently. Appropriate that it is in the Heritage line. Anyone know what the case size is? I think a rep would have a sunken dw problem.

It would have to be the Pams for me. The large size watch and minimalistic dial was a departure from the subs and breitlings back in the day. Second is AP. I found the bezel shape a little too odd but it was this that eventually got me hooked.

Diesel's got the best fit. I also found Super Rifle to be a pretty good pair too.

I hope so. I've spent the last 6 months waiting for an A7753 santos chrono but there doesn't seem to be any idea when it will be released. I can't wait any longer! Regular santos it is!

If mostly or only carry credit cards, suggest a credit card wallets - they come in 3-4 slots on each side. Bosca branded wallets are pretty good.

I have both gens and reps. I enjoy the hobby of collecting without breaking the bank. When im tired of a model, it is released back. Then the whole cycle begins again.

With the release of the A7753 on Panerai Daylights, does anyone know if the dealers are planning on getting this movement into the Legende?

This one just came out from Trusty's site. Its 46mm and make a really nice dress watch. The biggest one out so far on this line. I can't seem to find the gen to compare unless this is a fantasy model. Anyone know?
