Son of a gun, well in this case son-in-law of a gun, that is a very nice vintage Breit indeed.
I know nothing about them but it looks like the type of watch TTK use to turn up from time to time.

Edit to add....I think it's the 815.4 http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/breitling-nos-long-playing-815-4
Ah but if you find you can't get another movement in there (in fact need a cole chisel to get the old one out) because the case is warped, then the whole thing would have been an expensive experiment yes?
Ken
Congrats on the watch, may it give you many years o happiness.
I just wish you didn't say "Land of Hope and Glory" in your intro, now I can't get the tune out of my head.

Not so much the amount of questions as the tone of them, anyone who has spent time here knows what we are about and shouldn't need to post negative type questions.
I also noted your grumble in Hikes thread and wonder if all is good in your world at the moment?

Had to google this, SAD is pretty much unheard of in the land of sun and light (Oz)
All I can say is that Nanuq obviously knows what he is talking about and yes don't discount your many friends here if needed.
