  1. What's your budget? I would buy the speed master Quartz from a trusted TD ( maybe Toro). It's about $128 and the bracelet is nicely done.
  2. By-Tor that SMP chrono looks amazing. You have had it since 2006, have been wearing every week and it keeps good time. Has to be a rep record of some kind!
  3. I don't think blue dial steelfish is available anymore. I recently checked with a few TDs and they did not have it in stock.
  4. Folks, this is a quick review of Omega Seamaster Pro Chrono Co-Axial. This is an attempt to replicate Omega Ref No. 212.30.44.50.03.001. I will cover the most essential details and list my general impressions of this watch. Specs: Ordered Joshu@perfect clones for $378. (search for OM300M-305 @ perfectclones). The watch was released on May 28th 2015. Rejected the first set of QC pics. The pearl was not centered and there was a minor bezel misalignment. TD insisted that it was the camera angle, but I did not want to take a chance. 2nd set of QC looked good. Received it in 10 days. Movement is Nickle plated A-7750, 28800 bph, 25J with omega markings. Case diameter is 44mm. Impressions: Bezel: is ceramic. The etching is sharp and with naked eye I am not able to find any apparent flaws. I have never seen the gen, but it looks like the blue color is spot on (spent a lot of time online comparing pics). Bezel rotates fine and has just the right amount of firmness. Dial: is nice and crisp with all the subdials at the correct positions. The hour and minute marker seem to have the right proportion and size. Chrono hour and minute markers are all good. Bracelet: is nicely done and has a good feel and weight to it. The clasp however is of inferior quality. The inside part has slightly sharper edges (I may use 600 grit paper to fix them). The locking mechanism feels secure and sturdy. AR: is absolutely beautiful. Caseback: is breathtaking. The engraving is sharp and has a gen feel to it. To an untrained eye it would pass as a genuine. The wave pattern is subtle (just like gen). The watch has kept good time so far (48 hrs). The chrono pushers work and reset fine. The He-vlave crown also has the correct engraving. Lume: is decent. The lume brightness fades quickly, but lingers on for good amount of time per replica standard(> 30 mins). Overall, this is a very good (not excellent) attempt. Maker is claiming that the external dimensions are 1:1. I don't feel like there would ever be an ultimate replica of this, so this is as good as it gets. Let me know if you any specific questions. Pics are as follows with black and white background. Regards
  5. Hi Guys, I am looking for a good watch tool kit (not the cheap ones on eBay, Amazon etc). I would use it to change leather straps, replace buckles, re-size bracelets for Panerai, Omega, AP and Breitling. Any inputs will be appreciated. Not sure if this is the right sub-forum for this, so apologies in advance.. Regards
  6. Sure Dhistory, I will post pics of the other strap I have this weekend. I really dig this chocolate fudge strap. I sold the 3rd one a while ago.
  7. I think all PO blue (Titanium) are made by BP. Should I go with the Swiss or Asian ETA. Swiss is $60 more than Asian. Any thoughts?
  8. Thanks pcardoza/Legend. Legend, which gen version have you seen, blue or grey. I really like the blue version. Do you think there is a new version in works with an updated dial.
  9. AP Safari with Donerix hornback strap.
  10. Hi Members, I am thinking about getting a blue Schumacher. Toro is including a complinmentary XS strap with this watch (I hope it's blue). I can check with Toro, but it will be great if any member can help answer this. One more thing. Members in several forums are commenting about the dial color being too dark for the grey version, but it seems like the grey version is more popular than the blue one. Can anybody help me understand why this is the case? Sorry I am an AP noob. I have searched this forum, but I was unable to find any member posted pics of AP Schumacher in blue. Kindly share any pics, or point me to the appropriate postings. Thanks and Regards
  11. Thanks all. I am now leaning towards getting a PO Titanium in 42mm (my wife) and 45mm. This would be a awesome way to celebrate our upcoming 10 wedding anniversary (in addition to all the great thing I have planned for us).
  12. Hi, review will be general and will only include my main impressions. This rep has been reviewed extensively by expert members of this forum and it would be redundant to talk about all the finer details again (plus I am a noob). - Ordered from Andrew. Received the watch after some shipping delay (ems was slow) in perfect condition. - Fit/finish is excellent. I think JF has done an incredible job on this rep. - Textured dial oozes class and just breathtaking to look at. - AP case-sets represent top-class engineering and this rep replicates it quite well. - Movement, chrono work fine. Crown screw/unscrew process works well. Not so good part: - Unfortunately the leather strap was of very cheap quality. The screws were poorly machined and assembled (one of them was even crooked). It was nightmare taking the strap off. I could not remove the one that had the bad screw and after several attempts with different techniques, I gave up. I ended up cutting off that strap off. I got a Donerix hornback strap and tang buckle from Ebay (surprisingly good quality). Very happy with the Donerix strap. - The deployment buckle was also pretty bad. It was very uncomfortable to wear (maybe I got a lemon). Let me know if you have any questions. Regards
  13. There's a new (2014) superocean steelfish chrono (in blue and other colors). Looks awesome, I hope they rep it soon.
  14. Hi, I feel this is an underrated rep. Here are my main observations. - Purchased this from Toro (blue dial one is out of stock now). Watch arrived on time in perfect working condition. - Build quality is good and the watch feels solid. - Blue dial with concentric circles is absolutely beautiful to look at. - Movement is behaving nicely (no loose parts). - I think they have done a good job on the bracelet, feels like real thing. - Case-set is finished well. Also, including some pics of the watch with blue stingray strap (well made and $79 from Ebay). Let me know if yo have any specific questions. Thanks all.
  15. Hi, there is not going to be a lot of text in this review as this watch reviewed by several other experienced guys in this forum. I would just list my main observations and attach pics (taken with iphone 5s). So far this has been my favorite watch for formal occasions. - Ordered this watch from Josh. It arrived in time and in perfect condition. - Caseset quality/finish is superb. - Dial looks fantastic and the lume is great. - Movement has been reliable so far (asian 6497 high beat 21600bph). - Etching on the seethrough caseback looks sharp. - Strap was of average quality and the tang buckle had sharp edges. I was impressed with the quality of this watch and I decided to treat it with a gunny strap. I was lucky enough to win a lot of 3 gunny straps on EBay for $150. All of them are quality pieces. One shown here is from the chocolate fudge series. Let me know if you have any specific questions. I will try my best to answer them. Thanks all.
  16. No, I am just looking for a high quality rep blue omega PO (I was never going to use the chrono). The watch looks beautiful, is this 42mm or 45mm? Does anybody know which one is better finished?
  17. Thanks all. I was asking about omega gmt (should have been more specific). Most of the rubber straps I have seen on TDs website are either 22mm or 20mm. Do you think 22mm rubber would fit 21mm lugs, more importantly is it even worth doing this?
  18. So, is the lug width 21mm or 22mm? Can you please check. Thanks
  19. Thanks for that information. What is the lug size for this rep. I am debating if I should get a blue rubber strap with deployment clasp for this. I have read they are as good as the OEM rubber straps.
  20. Thanks. I really want a blue Omega PO (I think omega's in blue look the best), but I think they don't rep them in stainless steel.
  21. Hi everybody, I joined this forum about an year ago, but personal conflicts have kept me away. I have always referred to the posts on this forum when ever in doubt. I will try to contribute more this year. I apologize if this has already been covered in the forum, but I was not able to find any posts related to this watch. I am interested in Omega PO Chrono Titanium from Josh or Andrew. It was released on Jan31 2015 and is selling for $428. The rep looks good, but I need some advice about the quality of the rep. Any inputs will be deeply appreciated. I have only 4 posts so I can't post any pics/links Thanks all. Adding link. Thanks again http://www.pf-818.com/omcpo45304-pocean-chrono-titi-blue-p-16964.html
