  1. Got mine from Toro; very happy and have changed strap a couple of times... and great service
  2. Looks like PAM359N - I recently added one to my own collection - nice strap you have their as well ... beautiful watch - which one is this ... for today though I can't take this off since it arrived yesterday and remarkably, perfect time accuracy over the past 27 hours - not one second lost or gained!! https://imageshack.com/i/iqvRG5jrj https://imageshack.com/i/pa1XMtg6j Have a great weekend
  3. My GF likes my reps and already took possession of my IWC Portofino Chrono on a brown leather strap and my brand new (I haven't even had the chance to wear it!!) Rolex Green ceramic Sub 116610 V3 on SS bracelet. Both of these beauties are great timekeepers and very stylish although she doesn't quite understand how they really work and she has a distinct dislike for winding them up and adjusting the time before wearing (and doesn't understand the issues relating to adjusting between 11pm 6am and 24 hour time checking) but I'd like to get her another and wondered what other recommendations you guys thought, but perhaps in the quartz category. She isn't familiar with most watch brands (she knows Rolex, and knows I have a few others, but never heard of most of them). I have looked at Cartier, other Rolex, Breitling and Patek..... with no real idea what to get. I would welcome all [kind] comments on watches you guys know that are good looking (and accurate) reps, good timekeeping qualities, and appeal to ladies about 25 yo. Preference is white gold, silver and I suppose titanium - no rose or yellow gold, and she is not into tiny dial faces - the two above are 40mm approx. Let me have it guys.... and have a great weekend ahead - big thanks!!
  4. PAM359N from Toro - great service and follow up from them to deliver this to me, so thanks. Had my hands on this for 12 hours now and added a Panatime Chestnut Bronco strap; goes very nicely with the number font colour tones - which give a vintage look - love the look of the numbers, give the watch a very classy yet casual appearance, which fits in with both leisure and work settings - change the strap and it quickly takes on it's new environment. Movement (Cal P9000) is very similar in appearance to the PAM382 Bronzo, with slight variation in decorative "jewels". Lever at crown moves freely, not loose. Hand adjustment is accurate and after release hack movement ensures the minute hand "picks up" immediately - I have an HBB and a FM which need some "advance" setting on the minute hand to get it to be in the right time when the "pick up" gets the minute hand back in motion - A7750 problem maybe. This is a great addition to my collection of PAMS now with 4 and I am sure many more to come. Anyway here are a few more pics with the change of strap. I think it looks great and it will get a lot of wrist time. https://imageshack.com/a/4Fjz/1
  5. ..... and here she is.... must've been fate that delivered this latest acquisition ... wearing with a huge smile now... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Got mine from puretime and added a Panatime strap...keeps great time with only +3mins /month... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Still waiting for this beauty to arrive... VN customs playing their usual games trying to get money out of me.... sit and wait... sigh... will send pics soon as she arrives Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Added 4 new straps from Panatime to my collection this week and decided to clean up the PAM382 and try this strap on; feels good and looks very upmarket! BTW; Panatime are an excellent example of great products and service; this strap and the 3 others were ordered Monday this week and arrived yesterday with zero problems and great responses from their sales team. From the USA to Vietnam and my sticky hands in 3 days! Very impressive! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I presume the images posted with the artistic special efx was your actual watch. Is this from Toros, if not who did you get from? How is the watch performing in terms of timekeeping; how is the finishing on the actual piece, the face, the markers, the ss case, etc, and the strap has an easy adjust built into the clasp. Does it function well. I'm just about to pull the trigger on 2 IWC's, the 3777 is one of them and sourcing through 3 different TD's, 2 of whom I have done business with before, with good results. Really like this 3777, and have my eye on some Panatime straps that may also look good. Appreciate your comments. Enjoy and have a great weekend ahead.
  10. In the RWI forum, there is a PAM Guide which has a very useful reference tool to track down (I think) every PAM available; there are 2 types of that model listed stating 2 TD's but one of them doesn't have it in stock; the guide is in the Panerai section forum, as a sticky. Good luck.
  11. Gone and done it again, pulled the trigger on this fine piece the PAM359N; started out looking at adding a Daylight to the collection and the PAM356 came to my attention until this one. Can't wait for Mr. Postman to deliver and will add the arrival pics on that happy day. PAM359N 1950 3 Days P9000 ST Mov.
  12. Beautiful watches - the patina is excellent. My own is slowly coming along and starting to develop multi layered tones. The moment is saw this watch (noob) I had to have it. It's already had a swimming holiday in Koh Samui with no ill effects.
  13. With so many choices for Daylights available I wondered if this esteemed group would be so kind as to suggest their own preferences; I'm looking at a PAM188H or 251K... but the black dials 196 or 236K and blue Titanium 326 are all very tempting, but I am so confused as they are all great. I've read reviews but perhaps some personal experiences may help to swing me? Thanks to all. PS - I have attempted to post this question a couple of times already but it never appears on a thread anywhere that I can locate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I've purchased 2xHublot, 2xAP, 1 Omega PO, Cartier Calibre, 3x PAMS, 1xFM, 1x Longines and 1 x IWC, all this year and I haven't regretted any of those decisions. I was a touch skeptical at first but when I got the first and saw the detail and work that went into it.... Go ahead and take the plunge... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
