This rep is so good, that the only actual way to tell its a rep on a wrist is by saying "Noob factory" in the presence of the wearer and the spouse and see if you get a reaction.

Bro, Gen has more gap between plots & case (for flexibility). But in the 'rep-world' we consider that an issue.

Yes FINALLY in that pic, I saw the frustrating "white borders"... finally.

I just get another 'new' V7 (the 2nd in 4 months), JF made a 'silent update' on it. The dial is more glossy, and the date is perfectly centered (pic below).

As I'm not an expert too, I would recommend to use Noob DIVER's plots on V7 case if you wanna use a Gen rubber strap on it for a perfect fit (what I did)

I bought the SS version with bracelet to my wife too. In the beginning, she was perplexed since she 'liked' the 'big watches'.

But, after she got many compliments from her friends, it's now more than 3 months that she has only the Lady AP on the wrist.

You can trim the "pockets" of the strap for a better fit. I find it makes a big difference.

If you can get a Gen Xtal & a gen buckle, then you really don't need to buy the Gen.

Date surround is BLACK on Rubberclad white; SILVER on the SS bezel version.

But many times, we all forget that everybody can personalize everything, yachts, cars, bikes, houses, even watches...

So if a Rubberclad white Gen owner decides to swap an SS bezel or an SS bracelet on it, I don't think he really necessary needs to change the date surround from black to Silver and viceversa....
